An option to not play under certain TR?

Hi. Given that Blizzard has disbanded the team working on Starcraft, I am not sure if any changes would be made, but if possible, could we have an option not to play under certain latency or lag? I do not know if it is the server or my internet provider but the lag has been ridiculous for the past month. More than 80% of my games have been running at about 90%? of usual speed and the turn rate would almost drop down to 12 by the end of the game. Personally, I would prefer to play a single game w/o a lag in an hour instead of 5~6 games in a row with severe lag (or little improvement of the server would even be better :frowning: ).
Thank you.

Long story short p2p has always been a major problem when it comes to latency however there’s ways companies have improve over the years. It depends on your computer, network, singal strength reaching the server, and back around to you to make things simple to explain. Outside interference is also a major thing what we don’t control.

Another problem is map lag this is often the case with UMS even more so since the unit limit has extended greatly allowing massive spanws to appear and flow to a single point of the map to gather in huge numbers causing massive strain to all palyers. Depending on the map it will crash and disconnect players. This can be prevented by changing the single point and how much units appear at one time. Players who’re inexpereince who like/love massing units will flood the map with fast speed. So, the type of game is improtant to avoid unesscary map lag.

Servers can cause stuff to happen but its mostly on the player side. Turn rate isn’t as important as many make it out to be. This was the case where many players fret over latency choice when a player switch from low to high at the start of game. Turn rae is something spefic with little of impact to overall game since it was never a thing until sc r came out due to some players wanting it in the game no difference than seeing APM count and choosing frate rate.

Make sure your computer can handle playing maps because certain maps are complex by creation that comes from Aisa servers to be played outside. Many map makers are very good when it comes to making near impossible to beat and I don’t mean in light terms that many players will use by naming thier maps of it. It can take a toll.
