AI Difficulty Settings Anywhere?

Is there any way to make the AI easier? I have not played much StarCraft but it looks like something I can get into. I don’t like the campaign and want to 1v1 the AI but I get my butt kicked. If not, any suggestions?

Your best bet is to get good enough to beat the 1v1 AI. You can practice without any AI, just keeping your money low and getting enough production structures and expansions in order to produce and fund large armies. It’s not really the most titillating experience if you aren’t really into the game, but it’ll at least get you through the door to the point you’ll be able to contend with the AI.

Thank you. I’ll give it a shot.

You might start by having more AI allied to you like 4 vs 3 or 5 vs 2.
“Black sheep Wall” get rid of the fog of war so you can see the AI (only in single player)

P.s. if you play few weeks online like team games 3v3 the AI becomes a joke to beat. GL!

P.p.s. You can also modify the maps in the map editor (From Blizz Launcher) like adding more minerals patches to you and so on.
Be aware to not add Arcade items or you can’t play normal melee games with the AI

The AI is very easy to deal with if you get half-way decent mechanics. If anything I wish they had options to make it smart and actually dangerous lol

Hey, first off I think it’s good for you to go and beat campaign: vanilla and expansion, yes both! Don’t even think it’s waste of time because if you wanna be competitive on this game 50% you need your mechanics improved.

After you learned how to control units start learning hotkeys. Afterwards simple build orders, even knowing one for each race is enough. If you won’t spare some time for those things be ready to get your butt kicked. Most ppl on ladder played this game for years so don’t expect for easy start.

Now go and enjoy best campaign ever made!

Hey, the enemy AI are very weak for me, as for Allies AI are very strong. Even before I attack enemy AI, my allies already done it.
