I cannot add friends. Neither using /f a command nor using the add friend button. I tried with name#number and with email. Nothing works.
Does this only happen in-game? Would it be possible to test the issue with Blizzard Battle net app instead? SCR should now use the Blizzard friends feature which is cross-game.
I also tried with battle net app and it does not work.
If i add friends which are from EU countries it works. But if i add friends from the US it does not.

In the current system the game is not cross-region. Friends can only be added for the server the launcher app is logged into. If it’s working for EU countries this does suggest the app is logged into Europe.
Logging out, then back in to Americas should allow you to add the US friends. Keep in mind that switching will hide all friends in the other region that is not logged in.

The community is already small and you are restricting stuff?
That’s how it is across all of Blizzard, big and small games alike.
The regions are wholly separate systems that do not communicate with each other.
