That fully applies to EMP, Abduct and FB.
Not sure why you try to obfuscate the EMP devastating effect on TvP. I guess how the terrans would feel for a “non lethal” Storm that only halved the terran HP-pool was instant, cast from a DT and with a Radius of EMP.
None of which are anywhere near as devastating as stunning a large portion of your opponent’s army.
Abduct, Feedback, and IM only affect individual units at once.
EMP affects multiple units, but it is limited to shields (which are often only a portion of the target’s health) and energy; and it doesn’t crowd-control the opponent at all otherwise.
Are you going to keep responding until i shut up?
Emp is near instant cast, provides no visual indicator before it hits and removes half health of protoss units, immediately
yet they are broken when 360 degree nova full of units connect
In GSL S1 Parting dropped dts to Maru’s main then sent novas to his main army.
Maru was busy with his main and took 2 full novas to his bio army,it was over
not if they come burrowed and unburrow, after fungal hits, with -75% movespeed you aren’t dodging any biles
read above
it takes around 2 seconds to kill stimmed marines
talked about it earlier but no,gateway units has no capacity to outrun stimmed bio, especially versus marauder slow.
and protoss players only use 1 prism, that only saves 4 units
are you sure you have enough info for this?
Maelstorm only affects biological units,bro
You can use mech units and ignore it entirely
Whether be it ships or ground vehicles
can be solved by making Dark Archon biological,if they can catch ghosts with observers with them
yes by 1 range,if you are not fast enough your dark archons will be half screen away to cast anything or nothing
I will reply this the “Terran Way”,don’t clump up versus EMP(mael)
Up to half the health of some units, but that is still NOWHERE NEAR AS DEVASTATING AS OUTRIGHT STUNNING UNITS!
No they are not. Disruptors are powerful, but there is plenty of counterplay against them to keep them balanced.
Sucks for Maru that he didn’t notice those Disruptor shots, but there is still nothing broken about them.
Yes you are. Even Thors and Brood Lords move fast enough with Fungal to avoid Biles.
Yes, but they move incredibly fast.
Originally yes. There is no guarantee that would remain the case in an SC2 version.
Either way; Maelstrom’s effect would remain outright broken against both Zerg and Bio compositions. Even Lockdown (a single-target version) had to be nerfed significantly when it was moved over.
3 range total if you include the radius.
