Warhound & the patch

Going to bring this up again since it seems more relevant given recent feed back from the balance team. Over the course of the Thor’s existence in Starcraft, the balance team has been moving slowly towards a smaller unit with a focus on anti air capability. A faster single target attack again pushes it towards the broodwar Goliaths role. I propose:

  • 2/3s the model size and replace it with the warhound model (fits better at that size)
  • keep air and ground dps the same per supply (so halve all the stats or slightly increase damage past half as I realize unit dynamics are different as smaller sizes with less hp)
  • halve hp
  • halve build time
  • increase ground speed slightly

Why? This allows Terran players to more strategically place anti air units at separate locations, overcome sc2 engine physics limitations with large collision sized units, and work them into early game builds and defense due to lower per unit cost and build time
