I can meme, too. I just couldn’t resist memeing about how you flip flop your logic like a dog wags its tail. One second it’s “the points do have a distribution and it’s normal” and next second it’s “no it’s not logistic because the points don’t have a distribution” and then it’s “you’re using the wrong model it should be logistic instead”.
A race being “harder” doesn’t equate to “if a race is hard then nobody can play it”. It does equate to “if a race is harder, fewer people will play it - especially the lowest skill brackets”.

No. People are rewarded with extra MMR for playing it, it’s called “common sense.” You don’t just take a sample of rich people and assume that they had the hardest start in life (grew up in a single mother household with no understanding of credit and with a low IQ)…
That’s the stupidest rationalization I’ve ever heard in my entire life and it’s things like this that you can’t even win a single round against me intellectually, it’s truly pathetic how badly I beat you, the ref needs to come in save you before you’re utterly destroyed.

And so they are incentivized to switch race. But they don’t. They pick terran and stick with it. Why stick with terran if they are rewarded with extra mmr by switching to zerg? There is the problem in your theory. If a race were harder it would not be the most commonly played race.

The same logic applies in reverse. Why would anybody stick with zerg if terran is objectively overpowered?

Yes, and? There are a non-zero number of zerg players. Presumably, they want to win. So why are they playing zerg if it hurts their chances so badly? Are they just stupid? And how does this jive with them all magically being more skilled if they cant figure out how to switch race and receive an instant performance boost?
