Uninstalling until we can turn off chat

Isn’t the option there in the social part of the games option menu?

One time a friend was going hetic over a ‘bed scene’ that he did at a live performance and I was like “is that it?!”.

I am forever blocked.

Ah? You don’t like that? Sorry, dude. I didn’t realize that. The new season of Diablo 3 begins :yum:

You can turn off chat. o.O

um… yes, you can turn off chat during a match. I find it very strange that you think you can’t. Am I missing the punch line? o.O

I just tested it. it does disable in game chat. I’m not sure what it is you are failing to understand about the feature.

That you find it inconvenient doesn’t mean that you can’t turn off chat in game.

Or, you can simply turn off chat with your opponent when you start the game. It’s been 10 years like this. In the vast majority of games players don’t say much more then “glhf” and “gg”, if anything at all.

Maybe Blizzard will add this feature. Maybe they wont. But at the end of the day, the sky isn’t falling. If a player is being BM in chat, you can squelch them very easily. End of story.

Through one’s Battlenet account (not inside SC2). Once the system is setup, there’s options on what the account can do:

The top option is what will mute all chat everywhere in Bliz games.

Wow such a snowflake that he can’t see 2 naughty words before muting.

You can turn whisper off, and you can mute in game.

I am curious what happens to reported players? I did report a few for abusive chat, but I doubt blizzard even looks at them.

Bm is part of the game. Part of EVERY game ever played. I agree, I don’t get much harass or anything over the top. Very rare. Most players are pretty polite.

If they are trolling/harassing, the mute button is pretty ez to use.

i wonder if the OP will still uninstall instead of using the options posted by the MVP?

Or Blizzard wanted to do, South Korea’s star industry disagreed. Becuase Korean need to make other players angryed so that they can get more customers? Whatever, they don’t have enough customers now to feed themselves.
Other blizzard games have the options. What difference between them and Starcraft 2? Korean Style?
That’s not American style.

I am curious, is it possible to block some person on the forum? So I won’t see their posts.

Not sure what you are suggesting. You think making Koreans mad gets them more customers? Doesn’t make any sense what you are saying.

but again, its easy to mute people in the game. If the OP’s feelings are hurt, there isn’t much we can do.

Sure. Blizzard’s other games have the feature, so it has nothing to do with Blizzard. If customers want to get killed, should achieve them their wish. As long as it’s legal.

What do you mean? I’ve only provided a means to give the OP what they were looking for.

There is. If you open the poster’s forum profile, there’s a dropdown in the upper right where you can ignore them. I hear, though, that it’s temporary, a few months or so. But you can always put someone back on it if needed.
