If Zerg gets up to 150 Supply of Winfestors, Broodlords and Corruptors Zerg has already won. This Army could win against 10 200 Supply Terran armies.
And here I thought this was going to be a competition for the most effective deathball thread, not just a statement
I’m completely fine with it.
A spellcaster ball is still harder to use and be efficient with than a Carrier deathball.
Zerg players have to keep macroing, uprooting and repositionning their spore + their army and manage multiple spellcasters and flying units at once.
Say what you will about how efficient this is, this is by no means an a-move force and if the player isn’t good enough to manage all that, he will get crushed.
This army composition rewards skill a lot, and therefore is healthy for the game in my book.
I too was wanting to see that sort of post. Oh well lol
To be blunt, I’m not sure I would agree that a Carrier death-ball is even threatening outside of mono-battles.
The Protoss player absolutely needs Storms, enough ground units to keep the HT safe, and something else to help assist against Corruptors or other threats before that army becomes viable.
The Carrier army also takes a lot longer to build up–although the tech is first accessed a bit sooner.
Spamming fungal and casting infested terrans with rapid fire is hard for sure
Oh no they have to use energy to attack after that they are usless…
Infesters cant use fungle unless they are unburrowed. Meaning you can focus them down, with anything.
If you are Protoss you can pick where the fight is and kite them into a Stasis Locking infesters out of the fight as you kill the rest of the army.
If you are Tarren you have so much utility idk how you can lose to them. Unless you just throw away your army and never had a plan to engage them.
If the game was all about doing those 2 things, you may have a point.
But this isn’t a MOBA where you only have 1 hero that happens to be an infestor. You have a whole army to manage with other spellcasters (viper, queen), creep spread, macro, spore forest to move around, preventing your idiotic infestors from running straight to the enemy because unlike HT they have no auto-attack, managing multiple control groups, all at the same time. It’s not easy. If a zerg manages to pull it off and beats you, then he deserves the victory, period.
Stop whining and l2p.
Everytime I try to mass infestors vs skytoss I achieve the impressive feat of having all my infestors die without killing a single unit
So can someone tell exactly how to engage a skytoss? What should I do first? Cast IT then neural then fungal? Fungal first then IT? Neural first?
Fungal > Have 10 min to do whatever while P army moves at speed of dissabled snail.
Skytoss outranges fungal
Yet pro Terrans beat Zerg in the late game all the time
pro Terran beat (not pro) Zerg.
What a precisely correct formula.
We’re so lucky that game is balanced so it isn’t true for pro vs pro.
Imagine being this deluded. How do you people function in your lives being this whiny?
