Just like massing up voids and zealots is a common strategy the TTT consistently says is OP. Youre suggesting that it is impossible to sit back and mass up BCs, because it takes 4-5 bases to be able to produce. But the OP is whining about Skytoss, an army that requires just as many bases to build and far harder to turtle and produce. By youre logic Skytoss should be impossible too

Protoss can easily defend everything Terran can throw at them assuming their positioning is correct. Thats literally all protoss has to do to be able to defend. You have these units called observers which a perma cloaked which give you a huge headsup notice if anything is coming your way. You also have shield batteries + battery overcharge, mobile heavy splash damage units that decimate bio armies. Why can every single Terran player switch to protoss and match their Terran MMR within 20games?? Do you really think your race is difficult to play?

You have turrets and tanks (the easiest turtling). Protoss needs the splash dmg to deal with bio. And it’s not like terran doesn’t have counters…ghosts (cough cough)

So youre suggesting that a winning strategy for Terran is to sit back and let protoss take the map with an unkillable death ball? Right because that’s worked out so well for top terran players in the world.

I cant even begin to understand how you guys constantly lie to yourselves. If Terran doesnt win the game in the 5-7 minute mark they straight up are not going to win. Its that simple.

In all honesty i don’t want anyone to leave this broken, DYING game (maybe except complete s holes who can only play cannon rush, 12 pool etc). If every terran who rants about the game leaves, whos gonna give you your precious points tosses ?

Except the fact that OP is probably not the only guy who leaves the game due to frustration. Plus if you love this game and want to play it for a long time YOU SHOULD worry about declining population.

Saying that Mines are too supply inefficient is already a tell that this T spews bs. Mines are insane. Probably the best Terran unit and is straight up OP. That being said they are fine. Just like nuclear emps are insane vs Protoss they kind of have to be or else TvP shifts to being P favored again. Thats why i don’t complain about it.

Yeah Mech only seems to work at TvT. It worked at TvZ earlier this year but died off as it seems that Zerg can just all in with 66 drones and overwhelm the Terran on roach,Ravager,Corruptor. Plus its slow as hell, trades worse than bio vs Zerg. Just no reason to go for it.

That’s the reason I dislike mech players, they are playing the worse composition, so they turtle more because if they go out they lose, and I really hate turtles, specially in tvt.

I think the core problem with SC2 is that is balanced for pro players. But TvP is hell to play for normal players. Even the games you do win as Terran is basically due to extremely lucky widow mine drops or some kind of cheese which is a bad gameplay in itself. When did you last win a macro game in TvP without outplaying your Protoss opponent by a huge margin?

Even pro and high end Terran players hate the match up. That’s why none of them play the game or play random now.

Polt basically said on stream that TvP was really bad and that he was going to stop playing the game because of it.

Blizzard doesn’t want to admit it but they just don’t know how to reconcile the theme of Protoss with game play that doesn’t suck for the majority of players not Protoss.

If Protoss just defend and go Carrier/Void Ray/Tempest with mass gateway support it is an automatic win for Protoss. The only thing that works is killing Protoss before skytoss which is extremely hard since Protoss has both an economic midgame advantage and can make a large army much faster due to how much cheaper gateways are compared to factories and starport.

So you’re gonna tell me, Protoss can get voidray carriers and tempest while also massing expansion, probes and gateway units ? Damn protoss really has to be overpowered those days! Maybe I should get back to the game ?

You just proved how biased you are and how little you know about the game…
Mech is viable even at lower levels, I got to 5k4 EU with T mech without a single build order, that just shows how dumb terran mech is and how easy you can make it work.
