Toss is struggling in every stage of the game

If you go MMM with no mines, you will be absolutely slaughtered in DA by a pure charge Zealot composition. Every time they charge, they deal massive damage. Without mines, you just plain lose.

You are wrong again, I was talking about only the Marines, but if you have MMM it gets far more cost efficient to kite Chargelots to death since Medivacs can heal everything, you should try to play Protoss one day.

Again, the Mines are just to zone the Protoss away, it’s a less expensive sieging unit.

Carriers have 14 leash range.

You can bring the interceptors back to the carriers.

Interceptor launch range is 8

Oh sure, only if you recall your Carriers… My god, why have anyone ever think about that before? Call Showtime, tell him Champ found a new meta for Protoss.

Did. Got M2 within 6 games.

If you select carriers and press ‘s’ the interceptors will stop attacking and come back to the carriers…

But they have leash range 14.

Stop comand recall Interceptors? I’ll test that, if it’s true I thank you, but I still think that Interceptors should be imune to Storm, but I think that’s too much to ask.

Tested, no it can’t. It only recall if the Carrier is out of range.

It does recall them. After recalling it goes to default behavior, which is to attack if you are within scan range.

Zerg is broken af yet you still make it as if terrans are the main antagonist
Pvt is fine you are a joke

There is no single answer for Protoss right now. There are simple facts.

  1. Protoss needs competitive air units to have chances in late game. Current ones are trash and don’t even cover half of the cost and supply.

  2. Over the time Protoss was a race of making right choice with tech tree. And their tier 3 units suppose to be strong, but expensive and have long production without warp. Now they are weak and slow for its cost and supply.

  3. Over they years Protoss was a race of correctly used abilities that were decisive. Now every diamond Zerg can break forcefields, while not even master protoss can cast them. Why? Because sentry is a gargabe unit for its cost. And there is noone who can say why they can’t buff it at least somehow in damage. What it will break in balance? Nothing…but will give Protoss more defensive power vs all ins.

Truth is, Protoss might’ve gotten over nerfed last patch. It’s difficult to tell while Zerg is taking everything. Maybe Protoss needs some buffs? Who knows. Need to smack the Infestor down first just to collect the relevant data.

First time I’ve heard that in a long time, lol. Roach ravager isn’t even that good. When it’s combined with ling bane then it’s a good comp.

The damage could be buffed back to 8, you could also increase the range to 6 so it can better protect Stalkers and stay more in the middle of the army for GS.

It is ironic, but either change is a buff or nerf in different areas.

The higher burst/cooldown helps more in small fights or in focus-fire scenarios where you have close to the minimum number of stalkers needed to one-shot units.
At the same time, the higher burst and cooldown causes more overkill, so the old Stalker was better in mass Stalker scenarios where Stalkers repeatedly target the same units.

They could boost late-game Stalker DPS through another late-game upgrade, but the time or tech requirements needed to keep that upgrade from affecting timing pushes the way that Blink does would be kind of insane.

It is also hard to figure out what late-game numbers would be balanced because of the combination of the Stalker’s durability (more than most 2-supply units), Blink, and Warp-In.

“Tier” arguments are flat out ridiculous, especially when you try to apply them to Terran.
First of all, “tiers” have absolutely no basis in how units actually function, which makes comparisons between units base on “tiers” completely meaningless.

Second, even if you did try to group units by “tiers”, there is no system where you could consider any Starport unit to be anything less than “tier 3” without also deciding that the Battlecruiser is the only “tier 3” unit in the entire Terran tech-tree. Every single Terran unit apart from the Battlecruiser has equal or lower requirements to every single unit from the Starport, and the tech-lab does not count as an additional requirement because the Barracks can prebuild two of them before the Starport is even started.

Strictly speaking, the Carrier beats the Battlecruiser in both range (it doesn’t have to get close enough to be hit by enemy air-to-ground units unless those units also have extremely long range), and by soaking additional damage (up to 640 per Carrier) through Interceptors. That is why they are not balanced with similar durability or DPS against ground in direct combat.

Except for cases where wide-area splash damage is involved or where the units fighting the Carriers have a very extreme anti-light bonus; attacking the Interceptors first is the worst way you can fight Carriers.

That is definitely a problem. It would help if Interceptors did return to Carriers for repairs, although that might cost Carriers DPS in some cases.

It would also help if the Interceptor’s health was increased, although I’m not sure if that would cause problems elsewhere.

I always wondered about a fleet beacon upgrade that would give immortals an anti air attack or buffed stalkers anti air capabilities. It seems like a better answer than giving Protoss a meme 15 range capital ship.

The BC outclasses it in almost every way and overall dwarfs it in terms of value.

The ability interceptor ability to soak damage is a meme. They are so easy to kill and if they are killed you are left with a harmless blimp.

Unless they want to bring back the archon toilet, or give the role of lategame backbone unit to the stalker or immortal, carrier needs a massive buff

You are nuts

Terran whine is the reason for the majority of Protoss nerfs. Carrier. Feedback. Forge upgrades. Tempest. Guardian shield. Read the balance teams reasoning.

How many more tournaments should a Zerg win than Terran for Terran to not be OP? 3 times as many isn’t rnough. 5 different players who all just magically got more skilled this year. A Korean player who instantly denounces his abilities following a controversial win…

It’s like getting knocked down in 12 consecutive rounds, having the unoffical judge scoring the bout 96 to 120 and still pulling out the decision. THEN taking the mic and telling the crowd you opponent deserves the belt. THEN having someone who’s never laced gloves telling you you’re wrong.

Please answer the question? How on earth is Terran OP, while Zerg wins everything? How much credibility do any anti Terran whiners even have at this point?
