Funny, because Blademaster and Mountain King require almost no micro. Guess what Heroes I played the most?
What a cope!

All races require micro with units, orc is maybe protoss because of having more beefy units with more hp but elf is like protoss because of the OP powers. Still even elf isnt as poorly designed as protoss in sc2
No.
Human is the real Protoss of Warcraft 3, they can even Tower Lame you early on, and Archmage never runs out of Water Elementals and Blizzards.
Human and Undead were my favourite races, Orc and Night Elf were too much about Agility Heroes for my liking, having no synergy at all, between Heroes and units, unlike Human and Undead.
Human Paladin had synergy with Footmen and Knights, with Devotion Aura and Holy Light, making them tankier than normal, and Archmage had synergy with Mass Casters, which was the only viable Human strategy.
Undead were too dependant on Death Knight to function, because he synergized with the whole race due to bad design, but also had Lich synergy with summonable units (consume them for more Mana and keep casting Nova and Frost Shield) and Dreadlord had synergy with Ghouls and Abominations, in a similar way Paladin has with Footmen and Knights (Vampiric Aura makes you units harder to take down).
Orc and Night Elf have way worse design than anything in SC2.
Did anyone ever oppened with anything other than BM, as Orc, just because of how OP he was or how he could creepjack you all day while taking your items and XP?
Does anyone remeber Night Elf using anything but Daemon Hunter to Mana Drain the opponent and slow his creeping, while going Mass Bears?
Orc and Nelf are the worst things Blizz ever designed.
Balance has changed since, you cant tower so much and tower making is like doing bunkers with your attack. But Humans certainly isnt the most UP race like Terran is for SC2. Maybe thats what also felt better.
Orc was going FS but yes BM was used so much because balance never changed, it started changing when they announced Reforged before that balance was same as in 2009.
Terran is not underpowered. You cannot just go MMM like you could for years, now.
It probably would have been fine if armies were bigger and cheaper, that way heroes didnāt have ultra super mega impact.
Upkeep system made sure armies stayed miniscule, and Heroes stayed OP.
They had a chance to get rid of the Upkeep system with Reforged, but chose to listen to the wrong crwod, and the playerbase tanked massively.
They made Potions stack, an actual convenience change, and it is one of the best features from Reforged, which begs to question how good it could have actually been, if they made other changes.
Hero creep and items were what I hated most about WC3 so Iām really glad they didnāt port them over.
The other issue was units took up too much supply and a pretty small supply cap.
The scale of battle was so small no matter how things played out.
Oh well, frankly, I couldnāt care less what Blizzard does anymore, Activision gutted them and is now parading around in their skin, trying to convince us to buy a monthly sub to WoW while we wait for Overwatch 2 and D4; since all their current products have been all but abandoned.
If you ask me, the only game they want you to play is OW, and even that is a questionable opinion of mine.
Iām not someone with experience myself, but Starcraft 2 is quite a huge game to be editing on, is it really not possible to create new bugs for updating some stuff, āspaggeti codeā is what progammers call it?
This is nonsense, there are so many things that can break in such a complex system without active maintenance that doesnāt involve changing any of sc2ās code.
Also, this bug has been around for years, it just never affected 1v1, because (I assume) 1v1 was actively maintained.
The OPās theory is interesting, but I canāt say that would be the way Blizzard would go about killing SC2. When Activision wants it to go away they will remove SC2 completely and release Starcraft 2: Reforged with no multiplayer, arcade, custom campaigns, co-op or skins. Despite receiving a complete graphic overhaul it will somehow look worse than the original SC2 when looking at both side by side.
When that happens Starcraft 2 will officially be BTFO. For the time being they still want casuals like me to occasionally pick up another announcer, skin pack, co-op commander, etc., but at the same time doesnāt want to support it enough to answer simple questions about said DLC.
Imagine a slimy-looking bastard with a crazed look in eyes and huge maniacal smile rubbing his hands together. That is the state of SC2.
