Which doesn’t really matter as only thing psionic tag currently does is allowing Interference matrix to be cast on nonmechanical unit.

There should be more interaction with casters given how powerful they are.

Also, if unit cant do bonus dmg to 2 tags, they could have research for 25/25, 30s in twilight that would add ability “Psyonic attunement” which would change adepts bonus dmg when triggered.

No cd so it would just be question of microing adepts attacking queen to have bonus dmg.

They do have the tag, I’m saying they are not Light and Biological.

IM works on both mechanical and psionic units.

Anti psionic adepts are a good change. I haven’t heard a convincing reason why they aren’t.

How does this change make players want to build them in the mid-late?.

Take personal favoritism of your changes aside, realistically how are you changing Adepts for the better?.

How does it solve any of the issues Adepts currently have in that stage of the game?

Mid game they’d be very good vs queen play. Late game they wouldn’t be amazing, except MAYBE vs archons?

Here are some more questions for you:

How does this change make them worth building over Zealots?. Over Stalkers?

Does Protoss really struggle with any Psionic ground units right now?. Why would you ever build Adepts vs them?.

How does this change make Adepts a better combat unit to survive in mid-late game fights?

I have Zealots.

Archons destroy Adepts and Protoss will have disruptors and stalkers. Both of which Adepts do poorly against.

Yeah, queens. Hugely. Particuliarly early game defense and offense w/nydus.

Mid game versus heavy queen comps, yeah. Late game, not so much. I don’t have an issue with them attacking air in conjunction. Anti psionic is a great role for them though.

You can’t kite charge upgraded zealots with queens.

Nydus is getting nerfed.

Yeah, but if they get 5+ queens in your base early game even with a slower deploy into the base you’re still dead. Gateway units don’t do well vs queens.

You can actually. Happens all the time. There’d have to be hgue numbers of zealots to effectively fight off queens, and that’s assuming the zerg doesn’t have numbers themselves.

Zerg nearly always heavy queen in early/midgame. It’s their chief defense/aa etc and the #1 reason why zergs can get so ahead of P. No threat of dying until immortals come out. Adepts would absolutely change that if they could do bonus vs psionic.

You have no idea about the speeds of units in SC2 if you think Queens can kite charge upgraded Zealots.

Early game yes, but never mid game.

Any purpose other than hyperspecific all-in that only works cause nobody uses it is huge improvement for adept.

This would just make Adepts better for all-ins vs Zergs.

Also, They could be used in PvP to kill off archons faster in immortal archon fights or shade on infestors in PvZ.

What world would you ever be using Adepts over Zealots for late game harassment when you need the gas for upgrades and expensive units.
