SC2 won't start on Big Sur [Fixed]

FIXED:

  1. Open ystem preferences
  2. Go to the Security & Privacy preference pane
  3. Go to the Privacy tab
  4. Scroll the sidebar down to Full disk access and select it
  5. Click the :lock: in the bottom left and authenticate yourself
  6. Click the + button, and add the following apps:
    1. The Battle.net.app launcher
    2. The Starcraft.app file at the top of your SC2 game folder
      • If you’re unsure where you SC2 game folder is you can:
        • open Battle.net, select the Starcraft 2 section
        • click the gear icon labelled “Options” just under the “Starcraft 2” title
        • click “Reveal in Finder”
    3. The SC2.app file of the latest version
      • At the top of your SC game folder there should be what looks to be a file called Versions
      • It’s not a file, it’s actually a bundle. Right click it in Finder, and select “Show Package Contents”
      • There are probably multiple folders in here, one per version of the game installed. For example, loading old replays might install an older version of the game.
      • Select the most recent (highest number) version, and open its folder. Inside you’ll find SC 2.app. Give it full disk access.

Then restart Battle.net.app so these new permissions are applied.
