It’s a common problem for mostly everyone, no good peripherals on market. Stopped on Logitech G502, looks pretty solid for me.
I was using Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro, it got a broken wheel too. What a shame, was such a good mouse.
omglol wat a shame
but keyboards are good at least, i’m using Viper V730 but there’re none macrokeys
Why do you need macro keys?
not many keyboards with them
i just got used to it
and yeah i have some repeated ops that i dont wanna use again and again
In that case, I can recommend you to use AutoHotKey. Yes, you ought to use some basic combinations, like Ctrl+Alt+F1 for example to execute your macros, but it’s not a big deal since you get used to it.
I know AHK, it’s the best program not only for games, I am using it on my work, for example.
I use a Logitech rat 7 or 8. And then I add a rubber grommet or washer to the side wheel so its useful, and use some black Sugto to make the left side buttons large enough to use, and more Sugro so the right side precisely matches my pinkie. I then remove the weights so the mouse is as light as possible, and configure the mouse dpi to 600 or less so its hyper accurate.
Mouse lasts 3-4 years.
Not many people like the design of rats mouses, especially for me. Logitech G502 seems pretty solid too. And I like agile macroses there, you can rebind everything as you wish. The problem is, that I didn’t find profiles like I want to use one setup for some tasks, and for different, I need to manually set everything again.
Have you tried X-Mouse?
What’s that? Anyway, Logitech g502 stands pretty good for 1 year of operation.
Interface change for coop:
The escape button should cancel if you’ve set yourself as ready and realize you’re not.
Instead it’s loading the menu, like F11, or a click at the right place, no need to have so many ways to load the damn menu here.
At this point, with current state of the game, i would suggest Blizzard to make addon\mod support for this game, for personal view of the player.
- Allow your players to create unit\structure skin packs in supported .SC2Mod files.
- Allow us to place unit\structure skin assests somewhere in game to use them for our personal view.
Aside from Warchest Faction skin packs, SC2 lore has plenty of Armor\Clan\Broods\Army variations for respective races. Give your players ability to fill the void which’s been left here.
It is painful to watch you guys waiting for anything to happen. There is no balance patches, bugfixes etc, and you are asking for some interface suggestions ???
Good luck with that. Optimistic variant is: you will get what you want somewhere in… 2200 year ?
There is still a chance that SC2 will be given to a team which will actually care.
Just like Saints Row 2 patch develop have been given to IdolNinja ( ).
I hope so but i doubt it because StarCraft 2 is much bigger game than Saints Row 2, and a game so big and popular like SC2 would have been sold to some other company long time ago. I think Activision is trying to destroy SC2 because the game seems to not be profitable enough for them (compared to their baby - COD)
It could have been if they were smart and listen to this thread.
Example: They’ve started to sell Warchest, only with ability to use skins for your own army. So players bought Warchests only for main race they play
If we were given ability to set skins for opponent army aswell for our own personal view ( gameheart mod showed that this is possible ) Warchest profits would have been that much higher, because there would have been a reason to buy other races’ skins.
They actually still can play on that and squeeze some profits. And that would make game much more fun to play, and also will provider some comfort to players.
Yes, but even if you consider your proposal it’s like a grain of sand in the desert compared to HUGE amount of money they gain from all their products like aforementioned COD, Crash BandiCoot etc. StarCraft simply does not have fanbase large enough. Other games are played by millions of active users, SC by roughly 300 k. Even if there was ability to set skin for your opponents army, realistically how many people would buy it ? Maybe bunch of kids and after some time people would forget about it.
Its a program to make your mouse sing and dance.
