Yes Batz, it is dumb to think someone who keeps their profile private may not be as skilled as they say they are?!? I mean, having a public profile, since you are so incredible at this game, would show these “btchterrans” that they are no match for you. So why not show them that they are wrong? Making the profile public would just give more weight to your arguments. Otherwise I think you’re full of it. And if you try to argue that you live in EU and NA ladder is what is shown, just play like 30 games on ladder in NA and get to masters. It would be that simple.
If they got multiple accounts, probably got multiple different keyboards for each personality they play.
Agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the same person but just using different accounts.
Having my forum profile private impedes that objective in no way, shape or form.

Wait, so you are not Protoss, yet you are always on their side?
LUL, where can i post my keyboard and my left hand? - Because i play protoss following the terran-mythology i play the game with only one hand - due to having the a-move no-micro- race…
Sorry, i have to go and post now as BatZ.
The issue is: is Goba a BatZ secret account or is BatZ a secret Goba account. Considering that BatZ has been here longer one can think that in 2017 BatZ was bored and thought to create the highly virulent Goba account in order to attack the poor poor terrans even from the Protoss angle…
Very clever and sneaky…only the Overmind in person would devise such a nasty plan.
Yes, I do not main protoss. No, I am not always on protoss’ side. I have, for example, been very critical of the warp prism (for being a low cost hero unit) while Goba has been defending it quite valiantly. I think it’s abundantly clear the trolls who are saying we are the same person just aren’t intelligent enough to notice the (quite massive) differences. Goba’s writing style is polar opposite to mine if you disregard the satirical nature and the tendency to ridicule terran whiners. I love his posts, they are hilarious and extremely clever, but we definitely aren’t the same person and it’s quite insulting to your own intelligence to claim otherwise.
Your ranking is pretty stable during time… Do you ever play matches?
Maybe it’s just thaat he doesn’t play on this server ? Or maybe are you too stupid to understand this ?
Getting a little nervous under the collar you had to back him up?
It is so rich, coming from you…
Half the forum has asked you to post your stellar ranking…
Forum is still waiting…
just like how you could prove stuff but you choose not to ?? you’re not allowed to talk about proof bud.

ust like how you could prove stuff but you choose not to ?? you’re not allowed to talk about proof bud.
What exactly would change if I were able to provide proof?. No one has answered that.
I don’t play on this account much. The last time I played on it it was because the trolls were attacking my rank so I hopped on it and boosted it to that level with a 70% winrate. I can go a lot higher, but I think this proved my point quite well. The main reason I don’t use this account is it is targeted by brigades of trolls. I will merely log into it and start getting spammed by trolls calling me names etc and that’s just for the crime of logging in.

Agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the same person but just using different accounts.
I would, just reading 3 posts from each and it’s impossible to imagine them even having similar personalities, let alone the same person.
So what is that proving actually? That he managed to win a placement match and stay in Master? Wouldn’t have been better to link the rankedftw of his actual gaming profile?
Please explain me, you genius.
Ok, just asking, I trust you
The thing is, Gooba plays Protoss and is doing everything he can to defend Protoss from nerfs. Batz supposedly plays Zerg but behaves like a PPP and it’s actually sad. Even when Zergs were getting knocked out left and right to Protoss in the GSL Super Tournament, Batz was still standing up more for Protoss than he stood up for Zerg. Not to mention they troll the forums in similar ways. The similarities between them are glaring.

I confess that defending Protoss from nerffs is my main objective, but considering what has happened so far i have failed miserably in the same measure that MyOh (the imfamous troll, spammer and meme) has succeded in his (buffing terrans and nerffing protoss).
PvT isZerg favored.
Goba TM.
P.S. I guess that TCF would accept the removal of Stim, in return for a clash between BatZ and Goba…
They should keep Stim, their wet-dream is not going to happen.
I honestly find those people who post stats here in an attempt to sway balance (not mentioning nobody in particular, something I often saw in the previous forum and wanted to comment on) embarking on a bit of a fruitless trip. Not only stats from the kind of sources that get cited can be interpreted as they wish by anybody in odrder to form whatever argument they want, but Blizzard employees are pretty certain to have access to much more detailed data from their itnernal sources.
Hence, trying to convince people in the forum of something will be pretty pointless as they will interpret the statistics and their reliability as they wan to fit their argument, but also blizzard employees are likely to ignore it because of their access to much more reliable sources.
Dunno, something I wanted to point out.

Not only stats from the kind of sources that get cited can be interpreted as they wish by anybody in odrder to form whatever argument they want
Not really. Data can be framed in a way to make it seem to support a conclusion, but it either does or does not. The way to tell is if they followed the steps for a proper statistical analysis like defining terms and expectations BEFORE anything else, getting a random sample, pruning out garbage data (duplicates for example), doing confidence testing etc.
The problem is that statistics violate human intuition to an extreme and there have been a million studies done showing cognitive biases relating to improper intuitions about statistics. One of the most common ones is the base-rate fallacy: if you do a test that has a 99% chance of identifying cancer, and it comes back positive, what are the odds that you have cancer? Most would say 99% but that’s completely wrong because it varies depending on how common cancer is. If the odds of cancer are 0.5%, then the odds that this test was correct is ~1 in 3.
For this reason, the average person is completely and utterly unequipped to be able to tell if a study is bending the data or whether the conclusion is actually valid and that’s where the actual problem lies. It’s not that data can support any conclusion, it’s that it can seem to and most people can’t tell the difference.
