Not sure why they would be the experts to come to that conclusion. Bliz overtly announced SC2’s retirement almost five years ago. Since then, no, it hasn’t been fully abandoned.

They put in countermeasures to mitigate the coop problems. They patched the webcode exploit that was completely taking the entire arcade down for everyone. And now, they took uploading down to address the illicit and sometimes illegal content. Regardless of what Bliz decides is their solution, no critically thinking person would call that “abandoned”. And, no, a discord full of people thinking so doesn’t make it true.

For the layperson sure. But not those with communication line with Bliz.

So then it sounds like, to you, it doesn’t matter if they respond or not because you won’t trust it anyway. It’s “worthless”. Why would anyone, Bliz or otherwise, respond to that state of mind? Luckily there are cool heads out in the world that don’t write off anything Bliz says. This is for them.

The moral of the story is, unless you have concrete footing for anything you attempt to claim, you really shouldn’t say anything. Not just in this case, but in life. When you do, you only foster and perpetuate misinformation, which isn’t good for anyone.

We are not on the same page, RJC. I operate from rationale, and official sources. You seemingly operate from bandwagoning and mob mentality.

Unfortunately, across several media. When and where has never had any rhyme or reason.

That said, with their retired games like SC2 they often don’t communicate much, if at all.

And with that said, see my post below.
