Power consumption of typical game for climate compensation

Hehe. It is hard to imagine them wearing goats horns and praying to Anto Lavey. But still, Satanism is the creation of christianity and all fall in the category of imaginary friends.

But please answer my previous question.

A cartoonish view on religion to make yourself feel better. God I hate atheists. You’re actually the most unintelligent people and act like you’re smarter.

Hey what happend to ‘love thy enemy’? I assume you see atheists as your enemy right?

Not practicing what you preach? And dodging questions I see?

Don’t act like you know me. Just because I can see something as objectively true that doesn’t mean I follow it.

Source: Worked with ppl making the stuff. Acids, dust from cutting, energy, materials. Yes, carbon emissions are less than coal powerplant, but making solar panels produce its share of toxic, non degradable stuff you wouldnt get from powerplant. At least not with regulations we have here in EU. Idk how other parts of the world handle dust and such.

It is thanks to its reputation as “clean” power source that enviroment impact of making solar panel and its ingredient is overlooked.

Wait a sec…you see christianity as objectively true but don’t follow it?

You know in your own mind you are condemning yourself to hell right?

Like I said, don’t act like you know me.

Would still like to see the link though.

I did see a link like this about the lithium ion batteries and while it was partly true the research was conducted in such a way to intentionally exaggerate and create a distorted view on how bad it is compared to other sources.

So I don’t trust any ‘opinion’ on the internet and any such claims is only valid in my view after I checked and crossed checked it.

You dodging questions.

You’re asking me to talk about my life as if you were an autist.

No I expect you to answer my question…it is a simple question: who in your opinion is the powers that be?

Since you accuse me of being an idiot how blindly follows ‘the powers that be’ I think it is a fair question.

Low IQ atheist, what a surprise. Try growing a brain.

Still dodging the question.

Yeah, I said I was. How dumb are you?

You are weird and all over the place. It seems like you are talking to yourself.

Thank you Gabriel, for your reply.
I have a few questions.

I cannot completely follow the argument of: “all the hardware between me and my opponent will be on, regardless of me playing or not”.
I always assumed bigger tech companies would scale their computing resources according to the current load. So while one player might not make a difference, I would naively assume Blizzard would shut down 10% of their nodes, in case the number of players would suddenly go down by 10%. Would you not agree?

Regarding the power needed to actually transmit the traffic, I assume you are totally right. I would even guess there is not much data to transmit at all. I’d guess the total amount of data, which is transmitted between me, blizzard, and my opponent, is similar to the size of a Replay file, right? Which is usually smaller than 100kB.

But maybe Blizzard does not have to compute much for every game … most of the stuff is done on the clients, no? But then, I assume blizzard would basically run the same game engine which is running client side, also server side, in order to prevent hacking. So I don’t know.

Do you have an idea how much computing might actually be done server side?

I think, making people laugh is one way of dealing with some of the problems our human societies have. In this sense … not only I wish you good luck … but also: Have Fun

The RAINforests, where all the RAIN gathers, and with the large rivers. It’s not their total heat, it’s their relative heat, which results in air currents bringing in water from the surrounding areas.

Notice how the biodiversity of a rainforest is most directly proportional to the amount of water it gets. That’s why the Amazon rainforest is the most lush, followed by the tropical rainforests in Africa. After that though, you’ll find high biodiversity in the temperate rainforests in New Zealand (well below the equator) and the Pacific coast of Canada (well above the equator).
