New Co-op Commander Guide: Tychus

In my testing it was additive.
Trioutlaw research, mastery and Tychus attack speed mastery → 1 + 0.25 + 0.15 + 0.3 = 1.7

Other effects such as Rattlesnakes’ AS buff or Malignant Creep are independent and multiply all before.

I wasn’t comparing the two, but the suggested build contains both of them.
I continue to stand by that ANY Tychus build including Niadra is already flawed, and pointed out that Sam is nearly as useless, but not quite (situational).

Of course I can’t proclaim from any mountain that the build I use is the best one and skillful players can certainly use any combo of the outlaws to beat most co-op missions, but you certainly make life easier for yourself if you go

Tychus (compulsory) - Rattlesnake (heal) - Vega/Nyx (Each player must have detection at this point, at least on brutal. You need it, and don’t force your partner to pick up the slack for you) - 4th OUTLAW - Vega/Nyx (other).

I typically go with Vega for the third, once you get the hang of her there is nothing quite like stealing the enemies third tier units to use against them. Nyx is there at the end to shred the truly epic size attack waves we now get.

IMO the 4th slot provides the greatest flexibility - I like to use Sirius as I said, because of the anti-air and sustained damage he provides. But swap in Sam or Cannonball if you must.
Or even Blaze if you are on a map with infested - but he suffers from the same problem as Niadra - his attack range means he will constantly break away from your merc pack and support of your other units, and keep dying. His special abilities also pale in comparison to the AOE damage of Tychus and Nyx, and he can’t attack air.

BTW, it’s Nikara and Nux.

Sam does have great DPS, but he’s not as tough as others so I can see why you might not like him.
