The one thing that the HOTS SH design that was good was the fact that you had to burrow them for them to spawn locust, that made them require positioning. The current SH requires none of that since you can just spawn locust and run away, this design makes it incredibly abusable with the Nydus.

that’s a trade. the new sh locust can fly, but have one of cd 47sec. The old sh had an upgrade, so you always had locust when a wave locust had run out and you could have it buried because the locust was sent to the point automatically. the old was better to slow push/ def and the new is to trade.
btw the new was design as harass for zerg, but zerg use it in other way…

What is with the obsession with harassment in SC2?. It’s the most puzzling design aspect of SC2.

Oh you mean you? You were by far the biggest defender of AAM, even going as far as crusading to get it to affect shield armor too. But you also tried suggesting anything you could do to keep the damage. Its so obvious this is all a stupid grudge over AAM. I’m just surprised you’re bold enough to draw attention to it and hope nobody calls you out.

AAM should have been a damage over time debuff like Fungal is, that would have made the stupid AAM spam that we saw not even a reality. I was trying to solve the problem properly by suggesting a solution that should have been done from the get-go

Also AAM also affecting shield armor was a logical change since Protoss has both Armor and Shields.

AAM being changed to a damage over time debuff, similar to Fungal would have been about design consistency.

Now that AAM has been changed to a pure debuff spell with no damage, just like how timewarp is. The only debuff spell that is not in line with the design consistency is fungal growth.

Mass raven was terrible, so is massing of infestors that we see happen.

Oh, I don’t feel he is toxic either, don’t get me wrong. But those were my reasons as to why I got tired quite fast and I honestly do not want to deal with that.

just a comment, that some things are not used the way the design was planned. BC as rush, Sh more than 2-4, shield battery as cheese

LOL, i am very curious to see a bunch of people from Wermaht complaining to the Red-Cross that the pesky soldiers of the Red-Army used…military spades (entrenching tools) to cut their heads off…
Sure, they were not designed that way!!!

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Entrenching tools, if strongly built, can also be used as [ancillary weapons]. Some entrenching tools can be even sharpened on one or both sides of the blade to be used as cutting tools or weapons; in fact, when used as such, the tool’s sharp, thick edges are strong enough to cut through flesh and bone. During the Second World War, entrenchment tools were used in [close quarters combat]

Soviet [Spetsnaz] units were well trained in the use of the standard short-handled Russian entrenching shovel (“saperka”) as a weapon; by the nature of their missions, such tools were only rarely used for digging or entrenching positions. Modern commando forces, too, are trained to fight with entrenchment tools.

See? Originaly that was designed just to dig some dirt in order to create some personnel protection changing the terrain, but the human fantasy knows no limits!

In what world Corruptor is weak against Viking?
Viking is so bad vs Zerg air, that primary anti-air of late game terran army is Ghost.
Vikings are built to focus a stray Viper or BL without cover but that’s about it

Are you sure that Terran whiners aren’t hiding under your bed?

sneeze

Come on man you know I’m allergic to this crap. Let’s go over the pros and cons of vikings vs corruptors.

Corruptors:
Can be mass produced
Are faster when moving in a straight line
Are specialized vs capital ships

Vikings:
Are cheaper
When upgrades are equal, they win in 1:1 ratios, so they are more cost effective
They have longer range
Are faster at turning/kiting
Are specialized vs anything with an armored flag (all capital ships are armored btw)

So in many ways they are weaker than vikings, but primarily the fact that vikings are more cost effective and will win in equal numbers vs corruptors.

Corruptor:

200HP
2 armor

Viking:

135HP
0 armor

Theorycraft all you want but when you put vikings and corruptors into unit tester, the vikings win

Prove it involving numbers, and see about upgrade levels vs upgrade levels.

is not bad meant but already funny.
at infestor, the range of Fungal is so crucial. but with viking corrupter, the difference of 3 doesn’t matter much?

In what world monobattles happen and in what world there are equal number of Vikings and Corruptors in the field?

Gonna need evidence it was happening every single late game.

Does Zerg go Infestor-Brood every single late game?

I have ywt to see this comp win 10 base protoss vs 5 base zerg

That is false. Protoss was going golden armada evsn when mass infestor wasnt a thing.

You keep making 100% claims and lieing
