I dont know what to tell you if you think serral and maru are a tier above stats. That is pure delusion. Stats was even with them before the last patch and now all of a sudden he looks like a scrub.
He is the pinnacle of Protoss. If he cannot compete there is something wrong with the race, because he’s not significantly, if at all, inferior to Serral/Maru

He said it himself in the GSL code S - that he didnt think he would go anywhere until he stomped the protoss in his group and realized how things have changed after the OL speed buff and the prism nerf. He went from being eliminated by hurricane in the beginning of 2019 to slaughtering stats and trap. I’m not gonna sit here and assume rogue isnt being honest.
So when 5 protoss players were in the GSL s2 ro8 toss is broken but if 5 zergs are in the WCS Global Finals its fine

Protoss lategame was decimated because of Terran whine.
This led to Protoss trying to end the game early vs Zerg because their late game is trash vs Zerg.
Protoss midgame is nerfed
