Hi Maguro, the -Aichoice command isn’t working in the recent MM anymore. Can you take a look into it?
Good job

Hi Maguro!
2 quick things having picked this up:
1: Im just now loading into a map… and it just told me “Ive played 1 game with player X, 100% winrate”… but the player X… Is NOT who I am loading into the game with… its an entirely different person.
2; The unit kills % (top bar) and my own personal units killed does not match with blizzards units killed on the official score… is blizzard counting buildings or something?
Also uh… I don’t have zerglings as H&H

Send me the replay. Some kill count discrepancies can arise if you for example kill a Carrier with Interceptor in, one does count only Interceptors killed outside, and the other also those inside. There is no good answer here.
Or it depends when you end the mission, I do that when the game takes control from you. Kills after that are not counted.
As for player winrates, it’s quite simple. It goes over your replays and counts wins and losses for each playername. Then when the game starts it checks for your ally’s name, and gets win/loss data for him. You can’t do better than that since unique player handles aren’t provided by the game on-the-fly.
Thats my point however;
-
First, it came up during the loading screen (usually it shows up during the starting phase of the game in the first 5-10 seconds)
-
Second, it listed a previous players name (from a game or2 back)… and NOT my current partner.
Unfortunately I have no idea which replay it was and I played MANY games… but if it occurs again I will try to catch it.
A feature request;
Basically the goal; I’d like to be able to leave notes for myself about the people I’ve played with.
There are people who… I’d definitely prefer to never play with again, but even blocking them ingame won’t prevent blizzard from placing me with them in the future.
Being able to leave a note to myself that pops up at the start would be amazing.
I just keep running into the overlay appear and disappear commands not working. So it just sits there forever for some reason lol. And I have to turn the whole thing off.
A bug in the current 1.17 version, from github source (not download), related to the difficulty X/Y shown:
When the difficulty selected by the two players is different, you’re showing it as “Normal/Hard” for example. Or as “Hard/Normal”. I assume the flip is to show the difficulty selected by the left-side player and the one by the right-side on the stats screen. However, I think it’s currently player1/player2 rather than left-right in the display.
(I’ve been leveling HH for the first time, on Normal and sometimes get paired with an ally on Hard. Most stats show it as “Normal/Hard” but there was a “Hard/Normal” with my id on the left…but I’d selected Normal; ally was on Hard.)
Ok, I ordered it. As you said it was just P1/P2. I didn’t think it was important.

- Commander images are shown in the background of the killbar
- In mixed difficulties, the order reflects which player queued for what difficulty
- On MM maps commander level isn’t shown as 1
- Minor fixes and tweaks
This doesn’t work, as he uses ctypes.wintypes which is not compatible with OSX. I also don’t expect Maguro to work on a Mac-compatible version, as I imagine very few people actually play SC2 on a Mac
If anyone would try the script on mac, delete the part using ctypes.wintypes, specify the replay folder, and let me know if that works. I would be more concerned about flags setting overlay transparency and input pass-through. Those might not work well.
I imagine there aren’t many users playing on mac.
I downloaded it from github, but when I opened sco, it showed failed to execute script sco
Is there any way to solve it?
I’ll try it later today and let you know how it goes. Either way, I just built a windows 10 VM, only to be able to use the overlay hehe
That would be an issue with your anti-virus. You can either add an exception for the folder it’s in to your anti-virus. Or if you are worried about safety, run the script directly with Python.
Haha. Although I would be more interested if it works on mac with small modifications.
You can add me on discord if you want. Maguro#2619
