It’s the same for many people too. At the heart of it, it’s a choice between faster but repetitive gameplay of P3 versus versatile but slower P3 gameplay.
You can vary it up in P3 with different RGs but it really isn’t the same. Similarly, you can add as many troopers as you want on P2 but it really isn’t that necessary. And luckily both can play EOs just fine.
