Massacre of Zeratul

1/ Legions more balanced now - Telbrus and Serdath viable even in lategame
2/ Relying on Zeratul hero unit for early and mid game more viable (with help of supression crystal, he can easily clean 2nd set od Void shards for example
3/ Avatar mastery now competetive and viable
4/ cannons nerfed, but still viable (cannons + shieldguards still very strong)

I see this as absolute win for diversity of gameplay

I play Zeratul not for the Hero gameplay nor the gimmick legion calldown(other commanders like Kerri/Tychus/Nova/Dehaka do it better). I play it for the cannon gameplay and as far as I am seeing it, by the time you get a critical amount of cannons, your allies already clean the entire map.

And there are still ā€œI win buttonsā€ in the game like Nova air strike, and unbalanced op commanders like Dehaka and Abathur.
So the nerfs were not meant to balance coop, they were specifically made to delete some of the more interesting play styles.
I wonder what goes on in the minds of the coop team sometime.

It is viable for slow playstyle where your ally drastically outpaces you, but it’s not viable for speed runs anymore.

And it’s literally the same 2 or 3 people still whining about the nerfs, what’s your point?

Is it necessary to have a point at this point?

From what I have read, the points made by the people who are opposed to the change are not being counter argued by those who defend the changes.

From what I read I mostly just saw people burping at their keyboards in hope of something digestible to come out.

So us seeing things differently may boil down to personal bias more than anything.

Well, I challenge you to provide me with evidence of this. Show me some quotes with sources.

Yes. Build cannons all over the map, and just click to project them where you need to win. Yes, summon an army out of your… rear end… with 400 minerals and the click of a button… yes, mono-unit armies consisting only of stalkers or immortals… yes, these ā€œinterestingā€ builds are now gone…

You strike me as the kind of person that missed the mothership core when it got removed, game health be dammed.

Here we go again…

And what exactly would I gain from that, aside getting a whole lot of quoted people getting here and starting to argue all over again? Don’t get me wrong, it would be tremendous fun to read through the dozens of threads and hundreds of comments just so I can be accused of favoring one side and picking comments that make people and positions look bad.

But sure, let’s do just a little bit of it and show you some of the less than stellar:

The daunting generalization & ā€˜If it has likes it must be true’:

And lastly, the bitter trolling (without those laughing-crying smiley faces Drow loves to use), which I personally love, as bitterness is a feeling I can relate to a lot - regardless, I ran out of patience and stopped at two:

For fun time check out DarkForce, he loved to say all kinds of spicy stuff to people who disagreed with him.

Now Im angry. You forgot me. Im fine with balancing co-op That old silly invisible guy is now finally somewhat ok.

He wanted me to quote burps. You tend to construct your arguments, that is not up for debate, whether one agrees with you or not. Drow does too, but he’s also impulsive enough to provide great material for nitpicking like this.

Not exactly sure what this is supposed to prove, aside that people say stupid stuff, which was my point. If somebody would try and work extremely hard maybe they could find something stupid I said. Maybe.

Seeing as how I eat over my keyboard, I hardly need to burp at it as well. I do need to occasionally faceroll it, so I try to keep it clean, you know?

I play Zeratul as a main Coop Commander…
And I’m happy with theses nerfs, the canon field was stupid…
I was able to scoot the entire map with canon… Man seriously…
Zera is sush powerfull I always done twice damages than my ally

The thing I regreat the most was the chronobuild of Vorazun. (and Karax)
