Is there any drawback to roach ravager rush at all ?!

Shh, seeing a starport with a techlab attacked, having lings spread out on the map and patrolling, watching the second attack route and constantly poking with lings around the natural is not considered scouting. It clearly is an all-in meant to win the game.

must be my bronzie knowledge i didn’t recognized that :open_mouth:

I mean, an all-in would still be an all-in even if it were a response to scouted information.

I was talking about a comment that he made before. Specifically a part of that comment that said that serral did not scout. It was about serral vs special in year zero, a macro game with BCs. As you can imagine, serral did scout.

It is one of this guy’s comments somewhere in this thread. Its a huge wall of text.

Well yeah, that huge block of text is just flat out painful to read. Apologies for misconstruing your point, then.

To be honest, this game in general seems to almost favor many types of “rushing”, cheese, or what have you.

Of course in every strategy games like chess, the best way to start the game is to create threats to your opponent to limit the freedom of the enemy moves. The ability to judge you can win or lose an engagement is the hardest part of it, for the perfect engagement that you want your opponent to think that they can win it, but once they commit, you show up with your trump card turning the tide upside down. It can be impossible to recover from that position if you made a bad decision.
