They either attack zerg or protoss balance while their race is still most unbalanced , the sad thing terrans are bad players and don’t see the potential in their race.

its called groupthink.
Z faction guys defend, ‘fight the good fight’ for their faction, while driving everybody else away.
This happens so often with game forums, like on steam you have some 5+ person elite who gank on people who disagree with their games perfection. Because every game has some hole some bigger, some smaller.
when you have some proper criticism, they rush to shut you down.
Either the company, the game, or their faction cant be touched, or they rage with hate. Very sectarian kind of thinking. They, the self-proclaimed elite think to be superior and the inferior need their guidance. If you cant see their greatness and wisdom (stupidity) then they want to destroy you, especially when the real personalities surface.

The irony of this post lol… You wanna know why I post here? Because of threads like ‘I dont care what the stats say NERF ZERG’ being so popular. Because in 2016 this forum said reapers were fine (even I defended reapers) but ultras were unacceptable - even when stats showed otherwise. Because when tanks were being reworked and I warned that increasing the damage would be horrible and lead to tons of other horrible changes no one believed me. Well say hello to combat shield banes, dirt cheap swarm hosts, speed lurkers, extra hp hydras, usain boltras, and I’m sure the broodlord has a rework that will come next year or year after.
Great job geniuses! Keep whining, it really helps make the game better!

Nah, not more than usual. Theme of this week is Nerff Bane and give us free Static Defenses so we can drop the left and right without fear of consequences.

I dont see single mention of free defense. I see ppl talking about changing extremely expensive PF that is very restrictive for something smaller.

They don’t whine at all, but game is heavily imbalanced. They are real about game state… I am playing protoss go gasless third and just mass chargelots, with storm and a move over bio/lib/ghost even. Whole game i have +1-3 bases and just trade each time a move chargelots without any micro. As protoss you are not even playing game, just mass gateway units and suicide them across map… Terran sucks, playing zvt and pvt is so easy to compared what terran has to do, i just don’t like these pesky drops, but it is because i never practiced to hold them, if you are main, it is not that hard, you can defend just by warpins mostly, or leave couple lings…

LUL, when protoss had Nexus Cannon (that you still had to activate it vis MSC) it aws OP, Terrans have the same that even does not need intervention to be activated and in top of that have mass repair and…still whine.
You can put the “concerns” of terrans in all delicate language, but you can’t deceive the forum.
Terrans have the strongest defenses in all SC2 and should shut up.
Maybe it’s time that us terrans began to learn than hyper-aggression without defense is not a such good idea.
You like to mention the current meme Recall (that works each 2 minutes…) maybe terrans can defend their bases with BattleCruiser TJ? At the end of the day you have as many recalls as Battlecruisers. How do you like some of your own medicine?
That maybe works in Bronze/Silver not even Gold.

The stereotype of terran whiner exists for a reason. And their community figures are probably a huge part of it. Most of them are huge known whiners.
-We have Heromarine that will not stop whining. One of his greatests take-aways was that he said he needed to play 10 times better than his opponent at a time (Showtime) just to be even.
-Uthermal, who complained on twitter that the reason he lost to Serral was mostly due to balance.
-Special, who even casters poke about being whiny about balance. On one of the videos showing a korean practice house discussion or similar, while other people were being constructive, he only said “zerg OP, protoss OP, terran sucks”.
-Avilo. Its Avilo.
-Nathanias, who when casts is very objective but whenever he is on stream cannot stop whining about everything, disrespecting any opponent he loses to that is not a terran, and calling people like Lambo mediocre and that parties and drinks all day.

And I could go on but will not bother. It is not only the complaining, but the constant disrespect of their opponents, insults, attacks and belittling of players of the other races that compound into an attitude that influences many players to, well, call other races “a-move”, “free”, “easy”, etc.
Their reputation is well earnt, and although I know that many terran players are not like that, people like these having controversies around them and then calling on a “witch hunt” after backlash because of insults and belittling of beloved players of other races that helps push the “Terran whiner” stereotype, which also creates the problem of the boy who cried wolf, as when there are real imbalances (take 2019 for example) they are ignored.
I want to end on the note that lately I’ve been feeling improvement from a lot of these figureheads. Most notably Ruff, he has gotten a lot milder, and BeastyQT who is trying honestly to not be too biased (although some bias is pretty much impossible to avoid), and even Nathanias who seems to have a Dr Jekill and Mr Hide when casting and streaming. Also Avilo getting banned helped, but there is still a long way to go to combat the stereotype.

I know man , i seriously hate terran whinners that want their race to be overbuffed to no tomorrow and other races nerfed. Watched 2 days ago Special stream where he casted a game of protoss vs terran. In the first 2 minutes he was literally crying about probe being able to kill scv while building barracks , don’t know who played against who but also said if probe is macroed perfectly then terran has no chance to win , like what the hell… Special is supposed to be a top terran world wide and cries about probe? What was funny also when he called the protoss player a noob because he didn’t get the kill and such. Really , really poor behavior.
Nathanias , i stopped watching the dude when the nerf for zerg arrived last year. He wasn’t even reading the text correctly and when he saw a change for BC that he loves to play where he max and overrun his opponents (lame strategy) was so BM balance team even when he didn’t know that these changes were going to be up in the game or not. I also don’t like when these casters are behaving like animals during streams and while casting a big event pretent like nothing happened. 2 face people are not to my liking.
Don’t watch other casters/streamers much except Heromarine few times where he said that protoss/zerg have it easier.

To be honest,the worker being able to be attacked while building its a pain and no other race has something similar on their mechanics and I dont know why its there. Zerg loses the drobe when the building finishes,toss can leave any building and they will finish themselves,terran must keep the worker exposed around the building so it can be hit from outside the wall.

On the other hand we terrans have SCV health 45 (Probe has it 40), can repair structures and every non-bio unit and when we have a sufficient number of OC we can maintain our economy with 20 SCV having a surplus in army supply of 20-30 over our Protoss/Zerg brothers.
Different races have different characteristics, it’s a pity that 90% of the whine is driven by figures like Special that is a known non-whiner.

Not to mention, they haven’t ever had anything to seriously whine about in years. When is the last time Zerg got a hard hitting nerf like infested terrans getting removed? Never. Meanwhile anything with a decent winrate vs Zerg, Immortal allins, 3 rax reaper, lib range and much more was nerfed because heaven forbid Zerg isn’t allowed to get 80 drones at 6-7 minutes on nothing but queens.
