btw ty just hit a small timing window,and it was the TANKS that prevented cure from killing bcs,what happened after wa sjust the bcs snowballing,because of that one timing
if cure had ravens for the tanks he had it,he just needed some time

Cure messed that up, a lot.
We got two decent games, I guess.
A well deserved win by TY. That’s why TY beat Dark and PartinG. Congratulations to TY.
Its actually sad that parting in his worst Form did a better Job than cure.
Its also beyond me how people can have so little knowledge of the game and claim that the bcs in game 1 were worth it. Cure Played super Bad but still had 40 Supply lead and didnt react at all vs an all in. He had hellions and cyclones vs tanks and bcs.
Ty and cure are just so far apart.
Honestly I thought that the series was a spectacular one to watch. Despite the 4-0 it was a hard fought fight between the two and much closer than the score would suggest.

Like Whatever situation occurred, Cure always dropped the ball and TY normally just didn’t. As soon as TY got a stable position in any of the games it felt pretty foregone that he would win to me. Cure was totally lost, and visibly controlled worse and made decisions slower in every game.
The end of game 4 was probably the starkest example (with Cure basically being stuck in the middle of the bottom of the map while TY started a baserace), but the same idea seemed to decide pretty much every game.

People are going to get tired of the doom drops and base trades really fast. There’s not much else to TvT.

I once made the mistake of making thors to counter BC, thought it was a good idea since thors do a nice amount of damage and the armor was good against BC shots…but I forgot about yamato cannon.He just spammed yamatos and wiped my army in a few seconds.

so much for that supa hyped tvt finals we had…
Game 1 really set the tone for the strategy. Ty coming up with a crazy build and attack, countering Cure’s unit comp. Really smart play by him and for the map. Ty showing he is a true tactician. BC rush in TvT I can’t believe he made it work. And not losing a single BC against cyclones.
Then game 3, he lost so many workers but came back with excellent movement and positional play. Really impressive.
well, this was a better finals than Zest vs Maru
This isn’t surprising. TY is far more skilled than Cure, who was always a Code A or RO32/RO16 player in his best form… before this year… 4-0 is definitely the expected result here, Cure’s miracle run had to end somewhere.

tvt would be 100x better if you couldn’t put tanks in drop ships
The real winner of gsl was the balance team.
They got to collect their paychecks while we all watched their abject failure.

Some people only see what they want to see…
You missed everything leading up to the drops being an option. Doom drops carry a huge risk because the army is with the drop.
