From my understanding, most of Blizzard’s development staff are working on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, since theres a lot of pressure for Blizzard to put out a success right now. After that is Warcraft 3 reforged, which has already been delayed, and WoW, which is putting out a new expansion and has a certain minimum amount of active development needed at all times anyway. Hearthstone I think also just put out a new expansion fairly recently. So its no wonder that Heroes, SC2 and D3 are basically on autopilot right now. Its no wonder they had to cut a StarCraft shooter when they have so many active projects under scrutiny right now. I wouldn’t expect an already basically complete mode like Coop to see any radically new content for a few months at least now that Mengsk is out.
