I didn’t immediately open with insults. In fact my first post in this topic specifically stated that it wasn’t meant as an insult. Topic creator is the one who immediately insulted as soon as I realized I shut his question down in two sentences
Second of all I literally wrote a condensed version of Trias response. People don’t mass immortals vs Thors because the game isn’t mono battles.
But of course you can’t see that with all the salt in your eyes.

Thanks Terranic, I do remember a time where I noticed the knowledge and relative neutrality of some posters’ messages (including one user second of his name 
), and I’m trying to replicate that example.
A lot of players around are so conditioned answering to toxicity by toxicity, whine by whine, scorn by scorn, that they end up being toxic themselves, and narrow their vision and knowledge to the sole prism of those aspects.
Having some users interact in a poised way with each other, trying to consider the things under several points of view instead of one ; might be a reminder alternate ways are possible. And that some of us are still having lots of fun playing SC2.

Yes, you immediately opened up with an insult. You tried to claim it was not, but
- Immediately claiming anything the op said was invalid based on league is an insult when you don’t provide any other data.
- The following insinuation that the OP was only considering the performance of Immortals against Thors in a vacuum/monobattle; when his examples and replay both clearly demonstrated he was thinking of mixed fights showed that you didn’t even consider looking into the post before you replied.

Trias actually answered the op’s question directly by explaining why Immortals fall off or underperform in combat against mech: Namely that mech players will usually build up a critical mass of Tanks to deal with Immortals before even making Thors, greatly diminishing the Immortals’ effectiveness; followed up by additional points and suggestions about the match-up.
Personally, I’m often guilty of insulting people fairly early when I either consider their statements stupid or annoying, so I am more or less throwing stones in a glass house here. That’s why I found Trias’s response refreshing. If he was the first person to respond to the op, this thread would more or less be finished in 2 posts without anyone feeling the need to get into a pissing match.

I read his entire post I just chose to answer his direct question rather than talk about his ramblings of a diamond level game
