So i played Ranked. Did this seasons placements… I Placed into masters 3… like rank 40 or so. won a few games, went up higher… Been M3 all week I logged in tonight and now im only Diamond 1?? rank 28…
My friends can vouge for me they congrated me for being masters again.
So I dont understand what happend?..
Last i knew no ranks de-rank you except GM
Did that change?

Because of the weird MMR placements at the start of the season, blizzard announced that they would be doing a few demotion waves for people who don’t quite meet the MMR criteria for the ranks.

This reminds me of a time in HoTs mid way through. forgot what season… I Made GM during MMR issues with to many people placing super high and certain ranks had ‘too many’ people in them.
I had that gold star for like 3 days… I was happy.
Yeah, the time where like 95% of the player base was in bronze silver or gold. I remember constantly facing masters and GM who were stuck in gold at the time because the system wasnt working properly hah.
