They could be REALLY bad plats or they could be playing unranked or the match maker could still be figuring out where to place you and currently thinks you’re around plat level for MMR and will need to be proven wrong through losses.
Or you’re on a low pop server/are playing at weird times where there’s nobody else playing at your skill level.
