Yeah mass Destroyer has a lot of weaknesses, I’ve been doing Wrathwalker/Destroyer in lieu of Ascendants myself, mostly cause I’m lazy and don’t feel like microing both sets. 
In Wrathwalker/Destroyer’s case, the Mothership and Destroyers fix a ton of the issues the angry giraffes have.
