To put it basically they are incredibly underwhelming.
Snap kick - is just a nerf revert very niche
Floating - Insanely niche
Charge shot - buff little niche but good.
Healing buff - meh. (Works out to like 60-100 healing a min if you do well with it)
For context for the heal buff with constant headshot you add 40hp/s and body shots 20hp/s. Which seems great but no zen is running 100% acc and endlessly hitting a target so you’d be doing extremely well if your getting 10hp/s in the moment after considering accuracy and mitigation.
To add to the this 6k damage/10 min is above average for a zen. That would be 1200 healing per 10 min. 120 healing per min or to put it simply… 2 Ana shots of healing spread over a min if you have 100% uptime on the harmony and discord.
Here’s my suggestions…
Minor
Transcendence now cleanses.
Charge shot makes no noise.
Major
Same charge shot buff.
Harmony target and Zen get 10%-20% lifesteal on discord target
The healing buff is 12.5 hp per shot, he shoots twice in 1 sec so that’s 25hp/s on top of the existing 30hp/s from harmony, stick a harmony on a flanker and spam the discorded tank it’s almost like giving a flanker a pocket mercy… That has infinite range and can heal through walls.
It’s not the best perk but it certainly isn’t the worst (should be a minor perk or just part of his base kit imo)
It’s just basically only good at winning tank trades. But zen is already the best tank trade winner in the game with discord so the extra healing is kinda who cares. Nice to keep your guy up but the other guy should be exploding anyway
The healing buff is actually strong. Zen can reach Mercy healing per second but with higher range and safer positionning. Not mentionning it grants ult charge.
Comparing to Ana healing is forgetting 2 things : Ana is one if not the best single target healer and Ana can’t heal and damage at same time unlike Zen.
I’m somewhat ok with the major perks but the minor ones are just too situational.
If you play certain poke maps or vs poke comps etc you barely do anything with either.
I find them kinda okay but not strong. Maybe replace floating with Charge shot and add another Major Perk.
Ideas : 1) Make Harmony permanent
2) Add 2nd orb of harmony
3) Tranquility now also does 40 dmg/s to enemies
I am standing by the point that one zen perk is fine, because it is a change I have wanted to see implemented for him since ow2 released, something that adds a little more depth and skill expression to his healing.
And what I actually said in my post was that it is a perk I specifically was excited to try out because it is something I have wanted for a while.
What I dispute is that it is garbage or useless.
Because it is considerably better than many other perks. (Torb rat and hog spring to mind)
Being too powerful is debatable lw has cleanse as a cooldown on a minor perk so asking on an ult isn’t that much better.
As for vs mercy healing… No it doesn’t if you want to compare ideals mercy can max out at 90hp/s zen 70hp/s
But ignore this let me explain why I’m going to ignore your opinion.
If you want mercy 60hp/s for 20 secs levels of healing then you’d need to do 3000 dmg in that 20 secs. That doesn’t happen at any rank. Gobal avg for zen is 5.5k dmg per ten mins.
As for the ana part it’s away for you to visualise how much healing it’s adding every min and let me be clear if you could fire 1 ana shot a min it would be stronger because you’d have more control and less requirements.
