These people will NOT stop whining about stuff until everything is removed and we are just left with Soldier 76. I predicted Pharah’s flight or Widow/Hanzo 1 shot would be next target but no, it seems it’s Zen.
If these people find the game so ‘‘Unfun’’ couldn’t they just play something else, instead of incessantly whining about every little thing until every hero is ruined.

I don’t care enough about Zen to get into any discussion about his mechanics, it’s just a general observation that these people will always find something to whine about and will never be happy.
Zen’s boop and melee damage is situational. So I’d say the strongest buff he got was his 25 extra HP. But his orb of discord was also slightly nerfed from 3 to 2 seconds when it’s not in LOS.
So I’m not sure why people are having such a rough time against zen all of a sudden? Maybe you’re just seeing more zen players now because he was the only support that received cool buffs? If he was broken in OW2, he was probably broken even before all these buffs he’s got.
Edit: Oh nevermind, he’s only talking about zen’s discord orb. In that case, it makes sense. I mean it’s a given that it’s not the most healthy ability in the game, similarly to ana’s sleep dart and anti-heal. But it’s also what makes him viable. So instead of asking for a nerf, asking for a healthier rework would be better IMO.

I wouldn’t describe discord as unfun, but well placed discords are crazy good. With OW2 having less shields it might be a concern but it might not.
I like Flats but he can be kinda dramatic and whiny at times.
Zen was garbo during Beta 1 but suddenly is broken and the most anti-fun character? It must be the ability he’s had since launch and not his new bonus HP and 0-cooldown Coach Gun that makes him nigh undivable.
Someone mentioned an easy fix for discord, where it starts around 10-15% and ramps up over the next couple of seconds to 30%.
Also I found it very funny having a nano’d Rein running and swinging at me (Zen). I waited for his swing, walked up, and kicked up and moved back. Fun times. Fun times.
Well he got buffs to his HP and a free Lucio boop with no CD because DPS had a role passive that made them faster and overall more lethal to supports…which was removed this patch…
He also now gets 100 burst HP from Junkerqueen every 10 seconds now that she’s in every game, so you have a 225 HP Zen with a no CD Boop flanking and literally front lining now lol.
I think Junker queen is gonna need a nerf ofc, but Zen does feel a bit overtuned. I wouldn’t mind slight discord nerfs. This idea is good:

I was 1000% in support of Zen’s HP buff last beta, he was BAD before he got it, but he DOES feel too strong now IMO. I honestly want them to bring back the DPS speed passive and re-buff the support passive, the entire game felt more fun last beta IMO.
Yeah because when you play the game a lot you tend to notice when heroes are frustratingly overtuned…and then you give feedback to get balance changes…that’s how it works and there’s nothing wrong with that…

He’s not wrong though, discord melts everything and is unfun. At least Ana nade you can evade sometimes when you see it coming and also is on cd but discord… Every OW2 game now has a Zen and with no shields it’s really bad. They either need to nerf discord or put it on cd, similar to Ana nade.
ana sleep is worse than zen discord YET noone cares apparently, zen don’t need nerf, he has low hp and can barely survive to a dive, nerfing the discord doesnt make any sense

Last week ana was broken op and needed her nade nerfed and sleep dart removed. Well…. its a new week now so we gotta have a new support to scapegoat.
All while still no one wants to play them. And they wonder why their queue times are so long???
Literally, these man children make 1 tweet moaning about queue times and the next demanding support nerfs. It’s actually hilarious at this point that they don’t see how contradictory that is.
Hey I am a tank/support main and my go to supp atm is Zen due to how powerful he is now with no barriers around.
I honestly do not even know why the devs even are partnered or communicate with content creators like flats. All he wants is rein giga buffed and everything that stops him nerfed.
I watched a clip of him proper raging that rein lost 50hp this beta despite him being one of the top tanks in ow2. Going so far as to be condescending about the changes, acting like the devs are stupid and making sarcastic comments towards anyone who says otherwise. Despite again rein being one of the better tanks in the game.
Literally all he does is cry when he doesnt get his way and is extremely toxic toward people that have other opinions to his. If you dont have the same opinion as him you are wrong and a lesser human essentially
He is currently using the support a streamer event to beg people into paying off his student loans. Like how low of a person can you be to make a community event all about yourself.
I think Discord is part of a wider problem - that of tanks getting the same effect from debuffs as other classes.
If Discord, antihealing and whatever else pops into the game was less potent/lasted less time on tanks specifically while being full strength on other classes, that would give Zen an incentive to slap Discord on someone else. It’s also an extra dial for the devs to turn to help with balancing. For example, antiheal can go back to OW1’s 4s duration on non-tanks, while lasting 3s or less on tanks specifically.
They could put the information on the F1 help screen so that players can find out what’s going on with that in-game.

They have a point with only 1 tank in the game and less shields. Discord down to 25% would help.
There are not “these people” because its not a hive mind. Different people requesting different things.
They enjoyed the game, the game changed to 5v5 and suddenly there are problems that were not there before. So it needs to be changed. Its simple as that.
Please, no…it was busted and incredibly obnoxious on the DPS heroes that were already ridiculously obnoxious in 5v5
