I know it’s been kind of hinted at that we’ll be getting some lore on Symmetra and Lucio soon, but I for one REALLY want some Zen lore. One question I want answered particularly: why is he fighting? For someone so peaceful and pacifistic, what makes him inclined to fight? To help or guide Genji? To avenge Mondatta? Never mind that one doesn’t make sense…

He fights to bring the peace of the Iris to the world. If you reject the Iris, you will receive metal balls hurled at your face. Then you will know peace.

To be fair that question had already been answered in his lore, most of his brethren choose to be more passive and at most just speak, he disagreed and decided to be more proactive and engaged going around and getting involved with the troubles of the world
