Can we please hotfix the voice lines below out of the game asap? It sucks killing someone by dropping a bomb on them and Zarya says, “From Russia, with love.” It’s messed up.

I don’t care whether you drop them all, if you want to drop only the ones that explicitly say “Russia” that would at least be something. I play Overwatch to get away from all that.
Removing these voice lines doesn’t change anything.
And Remember Russia and the Russian people are NOT the problem, it’s Putin.

If we’re talking about cultural erasure, I’m going to have to stop you there. Zarya is Russian. She’s the pride of Russia and she should get to flex that. It just wouldn’t be right if everything culturally significant to her was removed for no real reason.
She already lost her Z, didn’t she? How much more do you want to take from her?
I agree with jeffeff, anyone who disagrees with us need to be silenced plus we must crush all oppositions at all cost.

the censorship of an equivocal z to a current Russian military trend is quite legitimate. but you can’t ignore the fact that the Russia EXISTS as a state of the world, bro. 
Zarya was born as a champion who DEFENDS her country. She is also central to her lore as an Olympic athlete who represented her country, not just as a military soldier.
and to top it off, here you are intentionally ignoring that many of these vocal lines are easter eggs first and foremost, references to James Bond movies, famous memes, and Russian sayings quite equivalent to Echo’s Singaporean idioms.
as with Symmetra in her old interaction with zenyatta, this too will naturally disappear. but not because of the Ukrainian question, but because the recent New Bloods saga has rewritten this belief of Zarya towards OW as an organization.
