They said Rein/Zarya is meta because Zarya is OP, they said it’ll go away if you nerf Zarya… Well you nerfed Zarya and Rein/D.Va is being played instead. Rein is here to stay… almost as if it wasn’t Zarya’s fault.

Zarya is the third most picked hero in all ranks, and third most picked hero in GM. The only heroes more picked than Zarya are either Ana or Baptiste (rank depending) and Reinhardt who has the top pick.

I’ve had over 5 games of Rein/D.Va on Zarya’s supposed best map.
This is what happens when you listen to plebs. You get fixed stale metas
When you listen to actual decent players on the other hand you get map dependent metas with actual variety

I’m kinda confused about the post, is there a new patch? Zarya was fine and still is fine (IMO she doesn’t need or never needed any recent nerfs). I kinda sweat when I hear people spamming nerf threads for heroes that don’t need them because I’m scared devs will listen to the fools

If anything, D.Va being played is a sign that the meta isn’t stale, since the meta is Rein/Zarya.

the top tier meta is rein dva though and they sadly balance around that which means dva will most likley get nerfed
Yeah I really don’t think he needs any of the nerfs they are saying. I think he just needs a nerf on the explosion radius of flashbang. None of this nerf FTH by putting it on cool down, honestly I don’t even see McCree as much as lots of people say they do /:

If you talk about GM, you’re wrong.
If you talk about OWL, you should ignore it. No one will ever play the same way on ladder, not even OWL players themselves.

Nah, that was meta before they buffed her. They are probably going to let her chill.
Zarya has had it too good too long, but she hasn’t been nerfed, so I don’t know what you’re babbling about. Zarya is probably the least nerfed hero in the history of the game. God forbid Dva is preferred on one map on ladder compared to Zarya’s 8% pickrate and 60% win rate.

i know but they balance around owl so i dont think we should ignore it. ( and no im not saying it is right to balance around owl its just the sad truth we cant change)
I think they are complaining about that decay nerf she got a couple months back, or whenever it was… lul.

Sorry I don’t buy into that two cents pragmatism. I’ll oppose any balancing that comes from OWL.
Everyone should. It’s ludicrous to use OWL as a standard when not even OWL players play by that standard the moment they’re on ladder.
