Yes.
Alternatively you can aim high up, fire a perpendicular grenade, wait til it lands, then jump and shoot, thus creating a Zarya double grenade jump.
Yes, this sounds insane and completely impractical, but that’s how people get across the Hanamura gap as Zarya

No, they is a very minor delay after you shoot. Like 0.2 seconds, like click shoot, then immediately jump. Press the buttons at the same time only gives a 70% jump.
Load up a custom game that is just for you and try for a bit. You will see what i mean.
But keep in mind there are some spots like king’s row first point, on top of the phone booth to get high ground fast where you have to press both buttons at the same time, while moving or you wont make it.

I saw it in some old Muselk clips. It’s doable, but rather unreliable in my opinion, and I can’t see the benefit in getting Zarya across that gap to be honest. It’s more a “just cuz I can” thing than for actual gameplay benefit

But it would be fun to flank as zarya in QP ,or try to get the damn shield generator without having to switch to Tracer or Genji (which thankfully will no longer be a worry after the rework)
Well, I have actually seen a Zarya do that, and then grav the high ground, got everyone stuck there, and capture a tick, but once again, that’s like 1 game in 700 levels.
