So many times I’ve come across a toxic or trolling post and flag it only to have the “You’ve performed this action too many times. Please wait x minutes/hours before trying again” message pop up.
The number of posts you can flag in a given day needs to be increased, and by a great deal it seems.
I’ve only hit this limit once, and it was because someone was spamming hate speech. Maybe you are flagging too much.
That’s my point.
There are numerous threads in a given day that are toxic and trolling and deserve to be flagged but because of this arbitrary limit I cannot flag them all.
It’s honestly pretty rare that I run across something actually worthy of a flag. It’s just that when I do it’s usually someone really going Hog wild and making lots of posts that need flags.

Or Lumin is actually responsible enough to even be deserving of using the flag feature, while you clearly aren’t .
It that simple really.
Just use the flags more wisely. Do not flag the same person as one post will get them suspended anyways. And if it is blatant bait that even people like me who never flag would flag it, just let other people use their flags on it while you go for the more… Um, subtle flags?

And here we have a perfect example of a post that should be flagged and yet I am unable to flag it because the arbitrary limitations say to try again in an hour.
I disagree, I think they need to be DECREASED because of the amount of posts I see hidden when they shouldn’t have been flagged at all.
They should just bring back the downvote button.
And this is why there is a limit of flagging posts. Good riddance.
This is really not a good example of a post that should be flagged…Just because it upsets you doesn’t mean it’s worthy of a flag.

If you disagree, please type out why. Flagging does not mean you disagree.
It’s a personal attack against me. That’s against the rules.
And besides, “upsetting” is actually a legitimate reason for a flag according to that very system.
I think they mean upsetting as in upsetting to a larger portion of the community. But I can’t police how you use your flags or how you interpret the standards for flagging, you have the free will to use them for whatever you like. But they are limited and I don’t foresee Blizzard changing that, so I’d just advise you make a priority list in your mind so you don’t use them all and then regret it later.
Blizzard will decide what flags are deserving of punishment by their terms.

Sounds like a gross abuse of power, flagging that many posts in a day.
I flag posts such as the real life threat that was posted earlier in the thread.
That’s not an abuse of power. That’s flagging posts that deserve to be flagged but because of some arbitrary limitation I cannot flag it for another 45 minutes.
Please explain to me why it needs to be flagged.
I have hit the flag post several times, but I’m scratching my head as to why this would need to be flagged.
