Its personal preference i know, iam just curious what settings are you rocking now! Because there are so many sliders that its much more frustrating then useful.

And everything i ever used since launch made me sacrifice either short, mid or long range while have the other 2 decent, never found a perfect settings for myself.

I will start -

H: 100
V: 100
Aim assist strenght: 100
Aim assist window size 90
Legacy aim assist: Off
Aim assist ease in: 50
Aim smoothing: 99
Aim ease: 0
Technique: Dual zone
Rank: Masters+
Main Heroes: Genji, Zarya, Soldier, Widow, Doomfist, Ashe, Mccree, Roadhog, Hammond, Tracer.

How do you function?!

I don’t have my settings available to me at the moment but I know my H/V sensitivity is like 65 or something
aim assist window is around 60
aim assist ease in is like 30
and my aim ease in and smoothing are like 60
and then absolutely switched Dual Zone to Linear Ramp.

As for rank it’s complicated.
I haven’t placed in any role this season or even last (loving PC too much) but S16 I was low diamond, that was also my first season since 3, where I ended in Master, so I probably didn’t even deserve Diamond tbh.

100/100 isnt that fast with 99 smoothing:).

it was more the aim assist settings and dual zone I found alarming lol, like that’s just a little too much aim assist for me, and dual zone is just awful

but we all our preferences, I’m not trying to shame

it’s just foreign to me

What is weird about my aim assist :)?

Well i have some kind of prejudice, since i know like over 80% of t500 players are on dual zone i never really tried linear but maybe there is a secret!

All my settings are exactly how it was set when i got them game.

Only changed H&V for widow which are 100:100

This. Although as time has gone on my aim settings have gotten higher and higher.

It would be neat if they… I dunno, Game us the ability to save multiple aim settings and Gave us an UNDO button if we accidentally hit the delete override button.

Thats interesting for me.

It would drive me crazy to have different setting on heroes but thats my issue.

lol Yeah you would think that but I base it around the comfort I have with the aim and the type of projectile they have. I can have Moira on a higher setting because her healing spray is more forgiving if I over compensate turning to a new location, I tend to pull my thumb upwards when moving diagonally so I’ll keep Zenyatta’s vertical settings lower than Horizontal.

I always thought its weird to have H and V different.

Like i know from where are people coming from, you have wider monitor then taller but you still have same pov ingame which you just cant see if you get my point.

I also set widow to 100 for h and v, but i think i have everyone else at something like H:85 V:70. I can’t check as I’m currently travelling around Europe trying as many kinds of beer as I can :wink:

My settings are
Sensitivity: 5.0 (Torb Exception, that being 100.0, makes it ez for hammer kills)
Rank: Mostly Diamond for some godforsaken reason.
Main Heroes: StreetPig, Gay Captain America, Rush B Do not stop my friends, Grandma, Brown Haired Cowboy Chrom and God or as you forum mortals call him Torbjorn.

I feel like 100/100 is the most used at higher ranks.

Going 100/100 is not something you start with, you need to work up to it.

But I’ve played a lot of snipers over the decades, it’s usually my first choice in most games, and snipers in most games actually have range limitations, bullet drop, recoil, etc. But when I started OW I deliberately decided to stay away from heroes in my normal comfort zone. So I don’t play Widow, Hanzo, Ashe, McCree etc.

If I want to play a straight-up FPS character then there are plenty of other games to choose from.

H: 15 or 16 (half the Default)
V: 7 or 8 (half the Default)
Aim assist strenght: 100 (or 50) (I’ve used both)
Aim assist window size: 100
Legacy aim assist: Off
Aim assist ease in: 100 or (50) (Again, used both)

Aim ease: 100
Technique: Dual zone
Rank: Plat+
Main Tank Heroes (in Comp): Orisa, Sigma, Hog,
Main DPS Heroes (in Comp): Ashe, Bastion, Hanzo, Mei, Reaper, Soldier, Sombra, Sym (kind of), Torb
Main Support Heroes: Ana, Bap, Mercy (mostly pre-222/multi DPS comps), Moira, Zen

NOTE 1: I don’t use a Reticle, anymore (all Opacity is set to 0)

NOTE 2: Ana, Ashe, and Widow Zoom sensitivity is set to 50. Same with things like: Sombra’s Hack, Ana’s Nanoboost, Brig’s Repair Pack, etc

**NOTE 3: Ana’s Ally Aim Assist is at 0. Also, I “toggle” most of my abilities. Such as: Soldier’s Sprint, D.Va’s Boosters, Rein’s Barrier, etc.

NOTE 4: I use Analog Stick caps (allows for better/more range of motion, at lower sensitivities, hence my H and V), Trigger Stops (quicker firing), and Back Paddles, on the controller. It’s also a wired connection for reduced input latency.

Same.

The only thing I change, between Heroes, is button mapping. But, all the “base” settings are the same, like H and V.

Dang, I thought my sensitivities were low. You got me beat. Lol.
