Your Rendering Device Has Been Lost. Crashing

I keep crashing randomly, getting the crash “Your rendering device has been lost” I’ve tried many things to fix it, but it still occurs. What I’ve tried:

  • Remove all old NVIDIA graphic driver updates, do a clean update on latest driver
  • Completely uninstall and reinstalled OW2, also did ‘scan and repair’.
  • Changed my energy settings to High-power
  • Slightly under-clocked my GPU (2080 TI)
  • Fully update windows
  • Updated Motherboard (figured why not?)
  • Updated Chipset for my Ryzen 9 3900X

I have no clue what else to even try. Overwatch is the ONLY game this happens on, nothing else ever crashes and gives me this warning. My resource monitor shows everything is fine, nothing is maxed when the crashes happen, temps are also fine.

PC is:

  • CPU: Ryen 9 3900X
  • GFX: RTX 2080TI
  • Mobo: ROG Strix x570-E Gaming
  • Memory: 32GB DDR4 3600 CL 16, speeds are speed/timing: 16-16-16-36 @ 1.35v
  • Power Supply: EVGA Platinum 1350W

Any advice or what I should try next is appreciated. Thanks.

Should note, I’ve run stress tests on my RAM, CPU, GPU, and none of them crashed. No other games crash. Only OW2 is doing this.
