What even is the point of endorsements?
I’m saying what everyone’s thinking when I say that the only time it kind of matters is when someone is endorsement level 1-2 or 5.
And that’s to just indicate who’s a smurf or who’s a support main.

I have endorsement 5 and I am neither a Smurf or a support main. I am not in voice to sweet talk anyone either. I would say that I earned it by just being good at the game; however, I somehow maintained it when transitioning to one tricking Reinhardt, I suck at Reinhardt. Perhaps the enemy tank is consistently endorsing me for being a good little punching bag?

Does it though? Endorsement level 5 is just inevitable if you play the hell out of the game and don’t type in chat. But the minute you take a days break, it drops. I mean yeah endorsement level 1 and maybe 2 means they probably recently got punished but I don’t think endorsement really shows whether someone is a good sport or not.
Probably notched a report or two but not enough to get actioned. Speculative.
Maybe you’ve gone 50 games without a single person endorsing you. Possible.
What is for sure is that no one cares about endorsement, and its only useful for getting a half a tier of BP exp once every 2 weeks if youre a 5.

Edit: Logged in just now to see the “congrats keep it up heres your 5k exp”… but I already finished the BP. So. Barely noticeable for a third of the season, then it might as well not exist

Endorsements never once meant a thing since they were launched. I guess it can show who just recently returned from a ban since they will be at lv0.
So that’s what the zen fistbump means, good to know. I always thought it was more of a thank goodness you’re back kind of thing. 
It’s pretty meaningless. Wish you got more experience or SOMETHING from it

Bro, it’s not even hard to be lvl5… they made it so much easier it’s actually funny and useless.
I literally pooptalk sometimes and remain lvl5. I haven’t been lvl3 or lvl4 since the endorsement changes that made it easier. That feature is pseudo-useless.
Peel for your team, thank your teammate when they help you, be nice in your team chat and thank your team after a good match, it’s easy
