I’ve played over 20 games in the past two hours. This is literally how each one has gone. M70NHH
I hope that things improve in the future…

Which player are you in that game ?
dont fall for the troll - do not pay to cross the bridge
Never post a code
Post one code, you cherrypicked a bad example
Post twenty codes, they’ll stop replying
It’s never worth it to argue with knuckledraggers on forums.
Thats funny, because when someone says ‘the last 20 games have been like this’, and then one code is posted… I get instantly suspicious… Post 20 codes? Much better outlook on the situation but wait… Maybe posting 20 codes here wouldn’t prove the OP’s point… Hmm…
Tried that once. Got flagged for spam. People who do that are the real trolls.
How could you get posted for spam posting one message with multiple codes in?
- it is by definition, not spam
This is interesting…

Not really. Its none descript message that don’t really imply anything other than super tight SBMM create far more sweaty games, and that might not be the best for a casual audience. A discussion being had in pretty much every FPS.

Nice copy and paste, it was wrong the first time and it’s still wrong
Someone properly reviewing a video won’t cherry pick, someone posting 20 videos and other people finding their mistakes? They don’t want to admit it’s their own fault 20x
Stop making excuses and just move on dude, it’s boring
Rule #1 of Blizzard forums: User will not provide useful information regardless. This is factual. Neither of us are here to help.
Tbf, Mr Sins is more likely to help someone than pretty much anyone else on this forum.
Keep going king you’ll get that first win one of these days
Yes, true American media, cherry pick something and make it the end of the world -.-
I would like to help but alas, 50% of people don’t want it, and the other 50% are better than me anyway haha
If legit this confirms what most of us have been complaining about all along. They care about engagement more than fairness. They purposely make games which are unfair aka rigged.
Nothing to do with the “tightness” of matchmaking as that can still be considered fair (although also unfun) if both teams have 1 GM and 1 bronze.
Unfair would imply one team has a GM (or a known player who is far better or worse than the rest of the lobby) and the other does not. Either that or they are admitting to handicapping. Probably the latter would be my guess because it causes long streaks.
Win streaks and lose streaks keep people playing longer, even if they are not enjoying their experience. Win streaks obviously because people generally like the feeling of winning and climbing. But when it is forced can still feel boring and undeserved. Lose streaks because people will keep playing until they win much like a gambling addict and with the same odds stacked against them. When it goes win loss win loss win loss you get burned out more quickly and stop playing.
Even though other games may do the same thing, this is not a good long term strategy for the longevity of a game. Forcing people to play more against their will causes players to eventually hate the game. And I don’t think people will be fooled by an Overwatch 3 claiming to be any different next time.
Also, they should not strive to welcome casual players into a competitive mode. Competitive players generally want maximum fairness even if that means maximum sweatiness. By all means they can use their engagement based matchmaking for non ranked modes if they wish. Either way, they still need to change that laughable quick play description of “Jump into a game with other players of your skill level”.
What you’ve done here is you want it to mean something, so you’ve read it it what you want it to say.
Rigging isn’t a thing. Never had been.
The mental gymnastics you’re having to do to bend 4 tiny messages with zero context to fit your narrative/conspiracy is impressive. I’ll give you that.
If you’re going to argue this statement comes from a questionable source lacking further context, I fully agree.
But if these are indeed the words of a blizzard dev, how do you not conclude there is rigging? They plainly admitted to not making matches as fair as possible and that they purposely create stomps. Is that not the definition of rigged?
Not even arguing that (although that is blatantly the case). I’ve ready it, taken it for what’s written and applied logic.
It’s quite obvious what they mean.
The problem is, you’re a subscriber to a theory. You want that theory to be true, and have twisted what’s there to fit the story to what you want it to say.
Logic. Rigging is illogical and has never been proven, yet even had a logical reason for it.
If it was some secret, some disgruntled employee would have leaked it by now. It’s been years, and nothing. Would suggest there is nothing to it.
