Instead of resolving the problem of doubleshield by nerfing all shields, the answer should have been to buff underperforming tanks (my main is D.Va but other tanks were/are suffering), to be able to have options to play into doubleshield that are not doubleshield. Here we are months later and what has been achieved? These heroes are still more or less unplayable into doubleshield. And even Rein Zarya gives D.Va trouble like never before due to how the DPS role has changed to so often bypassing her DM that it’s not about conscious countering anymore and brig comps also nullifying her.
I mean, sure.
But looking forward shouldn’t they just buff Tanks back up? In a way that avoids the problems of DoubleBarrier.
