Yeah, you don’t get to use the pass if that is the case but what is the point of the priority pass if you still have to wait 10+mins…

iirc, I think they said they were working on this. If you queue up with a priority pass and still wait too long, they’ll just refund the ticket. Idk if I just imagined this or not but I swear they mentioned it before.

yeah you dont get to use the pass, but you will still have to wait, which makes the pass pointless to begin with
Play one fill queue and you have like 30,000 passes anyway. They’re already far too accessible. Should be 1 on a fill win, 0 on a loss.

lol no one would ever fill them. You’d waste more time in a support/tank game then just queueing dps to begin with. Makes the pass totally irrelevant.

You DO get a free pass when this happens.
It is already the case. The pass you tired to use is refunded.
that… only means you are not using it… not that you are getting one…
Don’t care, diversify. Blame Activision-Blizzard for making tanks and supports generally boring.

How about only getting a priority pass after you played 3 games of flex? Would solve the queue time for damage role.
You could see it as it was spent and you got a free one.
And that will make it pointless, isn’t it?
Depends on what we are talking about here… if you already average 10+ min queue times in your rank, basically every single queue then this is just free queue time
Because you’re guaranteed a pass just for waiting your normal, average time

I don’t like the ticket system but honestly this isn’t really the part which is really a problem.
Yeah… if you wait 10+mins it’s safe to say that it’s not affecting queue times, at least not in a significant way different to a normal queue without the pass
It knocks about 2 minutes off, but that is pretty cold comfort when you would have 12 minute times and you get 10 minutes.
I mean if the wait time was still listed as 10+ no… but most the time it lies horribly and gives you some unrealistic number like under 2 minutes. Then you wait… and wait.
That said they are so insanely easy to earn it’s hard to get mad over wasting them. Frankly you can barely use the things tbh. It pretty much never applies to anything but DPS ques as the time has to be over 5 minutes I believe before you can use one.
The fact you earn what 6 for a single win and can only hold 40… it’s hard to not max them out.
After 8mins the pass get’s refunded, and you still have to wait more to enter the match… like I said, is pointless the priority pass in those cases… so why use them to begin with?, the least you can do to incentivize those who wasted long waits using their supposedly “short waiting system” is with a free pass…
Except you make the problem worse, and more people will end up in that state.
If the system is ALREADY oversubscribed, handing out more tickets is going to ONLY make the problem worse.
