You overbuffed Tracer

Yup because we sure needed tanks to be worse.

it was comp at 3000 rating.

don’t worry, you see these tracers sooner or later and come crying on forums as well.

As a support main this is great, because now I can just queue for DPS for free kills. Especially in a competitive skill based game.

really your team just let tracer spawn camp while you trickled in. i find it hard to believe.

Like i said in the original post, you want us to send a dps back to escort the healers? and let the enemy team dive us 5v3?

To be clear, I never asked for or wanted this buff. I wanted reduced reloading time.

Tracer didn’t need to be more effective against tanks or barriers. She needed a better capability to secure kills through enemy healing.

But Blizzard gave us this bizarre fall off buff because they’ve never understood Tracer and they never will. It’s better than nothing though I suppose.

Because supports get nerfed into the ground anytime they can put up a fight against a DPS

No, they didn’t. McCree is not a problem.

What kind of garbage supports are getting spawncamped by a tracer lmao

Well tanks do have stupidly large hitboxes, but everyone besides the “tiny” characters have deceptively large hitboxes. (and even tinies are kinda bigger than they seem)

She does a surprisingly high amount of damage against the smaller characters, from a distance. Yes, it’s not “one clipping people” like everyone is going to exaggerate. But her being able to do significant damage from further away is a compounding effect that makes her harder to deal with, considering her speed and mobility to go to wherever she wants, minus vertical mobility.

The classic example: she can now quite easily stay out of Mccree’s flashbang range. And her quick spammy movement means she’s not going to get hit by as many projectiles at further away. They’re taking away some of the “risk” part of her risk:reward.

Hopefully I’m wrong and people figure out how to deal with her better but… I’m on the over-buffed side of the fence atm.

Good job I only play overwatch for the events, not outside of events for the most part. There’s no point to really and with tracer super strong again… yeah.

tanks are still overpowered as a class.
i understand the fun portion of it but still. you have good tanks, you win the match pretty much.

i still want more tanks like ball. or monkey. they have a specific job, and monkeys bubble isn’t overbearing. as long as they dont give anymore shield like sigma… his shield is amazing

I can’t speak for other Tracer players but I never once considered Moira even a soft counter. Back when I was able to track my matches with Pursuit, Moira was typically my most killed support.

Maybe they shouldn’t have quadruple nerfed Sombra then?

Oh well… To late now.

They made their bed now they have to sleep in it along with Tracer.

Uh… go back and help your healers then? Seriously. Tracer is not the only hero that can spawn camp healers, y’know.

I mean, I didn’t think the buff was really needed for Tracer but using getting spawn camped as an argument against her is pretty weak. At least come up with something valid.

Then why does nobody play these “overpowered tanks”?

Just because tank job is important and impactful, doesn’t make it overpowered.

Nobody wants to tank because tanks are easy to kill by just spamming damage in their general direction. Nobody wants to be a useless feeder. Playing a tank other than sigma or orisa nowdays is being a helpless ping pong ball.
