Now every game will be Widow cheaters with no counters.
Sombra WAS trash for so long. Got some attention, nerfed again and totally destroyed now by tomorrow patch.

Still has a 20 meter teleport, and a 5 second stealth with increased move speed. The stealth gives her 8.8 or 9 meters of movement per second for 5 seconds, or 45 meters of invisible movment.
She easily has at least 60 meters of mobility across the map and will be able to chase and hunt Widowmaker just as she always has.
And Sombra isnât the only choice to deal with Widowmaker.

5 seconds of stealth from a 17 second cd and praying no one notices her translocate to try and kill widow. Tbh can we discuss how ungodly broken widow is and maps have to redesigned to deal with her let that sink in.

You can engage stealth from 50 meters away from Widowmaker in any direction and height, and still approach her without ever being seen and still hack and eliminate her from 10 meters from her.

Unfortunately you can just venom mine your flank and completely negate the surprise attack from sombra you also have to factor in 5 second cd 17 cd there is 12 seconds where sombra is always going to be unstealthed widow also either plays close to back line or so far back and on the high ground where you canât typically walk up to her within 5 seconds so not totally sure how this even favors Sombra.
As far as conspiracies go, thatâs not all that crazy

i think she may be still strong against widow if she keeps virus? i mean you just teleport/translocate to her, hit your virus and its the same thing⌠. hoping your translocator comes up again to escape

Translocator is 7 seconds.
And⌠Venom Mine on your flank still works currently. Keep mind than Sombra doesnât break stealth to hack now, too.
I was considering reinstalling for the spooky season but these patch notes instantly changed my mind⌠Sombra gutted making Widowâs life so much easier, Ram nerfed for no reason, Hanzo getting more hp because âHanzoâs can still one-shot each otherâ lmfao.
Itâs time to just hide the game on steam and forget about it entirely because they never make good changes anymoreâŚ

The sink is already mounted but nobody uses that bathroom
If you are using your TL to make the jump up to her elevated position, how do you cover the 30m of open sightlines before that?
Also using TL to jump on Widow leaves you with 7s of no TL or stealth, behind an entire team with a red Support very likely next to you and all your cooldowns burnt.
i dont understand you lot, you scream at the devs to nerf sombra, now your angry that they nerfed sombra, there are plenty of widow counters in the game
She will still be good against widow lol. People get super spiteful and bitter after a nerf and might refuse to play her now but she still counts Widowmaker
Sombra already wasnât a Widow counter in high-ranks and games where Widow got the slightest bit of teamwork and itâs reflected in the difference in their pickrate during a dive meta.
These changes just make it harder for more Sombras to do anything to a decent Widow, she already stopped âcounteringâ her at a certain skill/teamwork/common sense bracket.
I feel this change probably was aimed at lower ranks and thats ok. Its the majority of the player base
