Mercy literally countered Genji before, her mobility being so insane she should never die to Genji, who is supposed to be a counter to Mercy because of his high mobility.

The game would probably be in a way better place if we just stopped being so nerf happy in general about every little thing.

No. Genji is bad no matter what rank. If you want to play flanker, play Tracer. It’s that simple.

Yeah, but he’s top on pick rate, which is what matters most when it comes to supports being constantly harassed.
Understandable, but that doesn’t make Genji deserving of another nerf when he’s already a bad hero.
Well mercy was not too strong either, but we got nerf to our mobility because ‘mobility is unfun’. So OP has a point here. If mobility is unfun we ought to nerf ALL mobility, not just one arbitrary hero, that was picked in T500 only to pocket sojourn…

He is in higher ranks, but there is a reason he is so VERY highly picked in low ranked play.
People can’t hit him, so, he is uncontested there.
Also he isn’t awful in high ranked play either. There is a reason he shows up a fair bit in top500.
He has a reputation for being “bad” because people hit plat with him and then REALLY struggle to get the same value from him.
Soo strong in lower ranks and a bit bad in higher ranks make that step a hard one.
It is crazy they nerfed Mercy when Sojourn was still meta.
They should have pushed Sojourn out of the meta, and then seen where Mercy landed.

Honestly, they gave Mercy that 5 extra bullets and buffed weapon swap time. Damage boost down, glock damage up. Make her like a guardian angel Bap. It’s probably a terrible idea, but I support Mercies walking out of spawn with the pistol instead of sticking to their Sojourn.
