This is simply not true. Mercy players were not asking for more power intk Valkyrier (which is in reality the same power as it was before the huge heavy handed 50hp /s nerf btw).
We wanted a revert to mass revive or a flat out full rework.
Of course we aren’t happy with this. This isn’t what we wanted at all, nor does it change how ubimpactful the ultimate felt because we already were playing in the past with the ultimate in this exact state.
It isn’t what we asked for. Mercy needs a full rework into a primary healer (I have a thread on this) or a revert to mass revive.
Putting 10hp/s onto valkyrie returning to how it was a month or so ago changes nothing about how we feel.

The reason we’re upset is because the ult still remains unimpactful and boring. I don’t want to play a boring hero, that is all.
Yes, we should be thankful we got something. But can’t we be both thankful and slightly bitter?

Why do people seem to think mass rez is more “fun” than valk? Either way, it’s just an ultimate. Valk is arguably a much better ultimate than mass rez ever was.

Healing multiple targets, improving their damage, and staying alive is impactful. You guys need to stay out of those Mercy threads, the rhetoric is blinding you guys from actual gameplay.

Oh please I’ve hated Valk since the release of the rework. Only thing that’s well done about it is the wings, otherwise the concept is just lazy trash.
And speaking of that inb4 Sombra buffs but y’all still complain even though her stats rise.

You try to spin this into Mercy players being ungrateful when in reality it’s more that they’re not falling into the age-old trick of raising the price of an already expensive item then putting on “sale” so that it falls back down to the original price to get rid of the complaints.
These PTR changes do nothing but restore Valkyrie to a state that was already pathetically unimpactful. It’s a non-change.

The changes I want to Valk isn’t something I can expect this year due to their focus being elsewhere.
However making Mercy a potentially viable pick is nice. It would also serve as a buff to Zenyatta since he plays best with Mercy.

It doesn’t feel impactful, that’s the problem. I worded it wrong.
It’s very boring to use. I would have taken a Valk time reduction with 60hps on normal healing instead of what we got. But we got more than nothing, and for that I’m thankful.
