Not everybody likes shoes! I personally HATE shoes.
They take people’s shoelaces in mental institutions who are on suicide watch. Have you tried wearing shoes without laces? It sucks. Better to just not wear any shoes at all.

Yeah, and if he was in a asylum suit, then it would make sense.
But he’s not. He’s in power armor. Did Talon just forget to put his boots on when they dressed him this morning?
It clashes really badly with his overall aesthetic which is “gravity themed supervillian” not “crazy guy”.

FYI In those institutions they just take your shoelaces. If you don’t have shoes you’re usually in a small safe room. Maybe he just doesn’t like shoes?
