50 exp you get after endorsing someone. I mean, 50? For real? You want to incentivise me to use this mess of a feature with 50 exp? So that’s just 150 exp for three votes. There’s been like one time I could’ve actually level up from that, rest of the time it might not even be there. If it was 500 exp, that could be something.

Right now it’s this weird “we want you to vote for people because you actually want to, but you also get a reward for doing so”. If it’s not gonna noticeable, you may as well remove it when (or maybe if) you rework the whole endorsement system.

I just like doing it because I like giving kudos to people I played with/against that made the game fun…

If it’s too high, they’ll incentivize scenarios of “Wow, those people are complete [redacted]s. Oh well, better endorse them for the xp” making it worthless as an actual system

Yeah the system is a bit dumb IMO, but not everyone needs compensation for telling another player “hey, you weren’t completely useless this match, good job”

I do it because it’s free and easy to be nice to someone, esp if they are on my team and I appreciate them.

OP you aren’t wrong though, the rewards for doing so should be higher. Could also include a thing where if you endorse a certain number of people, you just get a free box or even gold skin (or 3k, as opposed to the XP reward).

I mean it’s not great.

tbh i think endorsements aren’t really needed. most people just endorse randomly from what i’ve seen. the amount of shot callers i’ve gotten when i never called a single thing out during a match…

if someone did good, just praise them in chat? personally being praised that way is more satisfying than " Shot Caller ! " " Good Teammate !" etc.

it should be 150 imo, also change the requirement levels for getting ur endorsement up because it’s next to impossible to get endorsement level 5. and for gods sake let us endorse enemies and our friends

Wait there’s a level 5 LMAO? I don’t even think I’ve ever reached level 4, not for more than a day atleast.

Only purpose that endorsement levels have is to let other players know how many lootboxes player will get once a month or so

You can actually. There’s an arrow on the right side of the bar that moves to the enemy team instead of yours

To be honest I think that the fact that you get any XP for endorsing players is what makes the Endorsement system useless. If players didn’t get rewarded for showing appreciation, maybe they’d be doing that for the sake of exactly this and not getting some progress towards the next loot box.

yup it goes like this

level 1
level 2
level 3
level 4
level 5

if you ever get to level 4 next thing you know the next match where you don’t get endorsed it’ll drop right back to 3. hell even if you do get endorsed it would drop back to 3.

legit the only way to get endorsements every match is too legit go like this

“Wow great job everyone! You all did so well!”

“It was so amazing playing with you guys! This match was really fun!”

I agree. I don’t think there should be a reward for giving an endorsement.

I don’t do it for the XP, I do it to add a bit of positivity to the match.

I never called anyone worthless, they responded to the Question; “You know what is the most worthless thing in Overwatch?” with "me :frowning: "
So I made a joke out of it by calling out other people.
